About the Author
The author was delivered at home by a country doctor in 1937 and spent much of his youth in the small town of Indiahoma, Oklahoma. He is a graduate of nearby Cameron University, and served 22 years with the U.S. Army, including three tours each in Korea and Germany, and six tours at Fort Sill. After 10 years as a Logistics Support Engineer with Martin Marietta Aerospace, he joined the Boeing Company at Kennedy Space Center, providing support for the International Space Station until his retirement in 2003. Widowed in 2005, he currently resides near the Atlantic Ocean in Indialantic, Florida with his beloved Boston Terror, Roxy.
