I’m really enjoying this series even though I skipped the first book, I’m itching to read the next book. And most likely will be going back to read the first.

This is the third book in the Garoul series, and it was an enjoyable read. (Book 1 is Ambereye, Book 2 is Golden Eye). Waking up in a strange bed after having a car accident was quite scary to Isabelle, especially since she can't remember who she is and who is the person attending to her. She has violent nightmares and has blocked out recent portions of her memory although some fragments assure her this is a safe place. This was a wonderful story between Isabelle and Ren, both who have emotional and physical scars, and their efforts to deal with them.
