Indigo Sky is the perfect combination of history, adventure, and romance, all wrapped up into one page-turning story. We vicariously experience wild and untamed 19th Century America through the eyes of Leila, a feisty but unfailingly loyal wife to Hank, a two-timing egotist. Leila honors her marriage vows, even as the wonderful and handsome Rork makes his feelings for her known. Yet Leila is no pushover - she has a mind of her own and embraces a more modern woman's thinking. As she chases across the country in a time when travel was difficult and dangerous, we experience every emotion. A truly great read.
