(Af: Well, you're just a bundle of laughs...you can officially shove it where the sun don't shine because it's a word in my vocab. P.s. Are you a guy or a girl? If a girl, sorry if I offended you. If a guy...eh, whatever.) Several centaurs surrounded the train, terrorizing the passengers with swords and spears. Who knows what they were seeing, though. Maybe some random comanchees on horseback. I gently lay Zander down. "I'll be right back," I whispered. I finally pulled my bow and arrows and started shooting. Monster dust motes soon filled the sunlit air. My friends fought with new vigour. Then a particularly threatening-looking centaur stepped out from under the dappled shade and looke at me coldly. He looked like the leader. He bared his sharpened teeth in what I guessed was a smile. "Good...donkey?" I managed. I thought that that would just make him mad, but he grinned even wider. He cantered towards me as my friends were driven in other directions by the other centaurs. The leader pulled his sword out in a screech of rusted metal. I put up my bow and arrows and silently morphed my sword. I held it up defensively with both hands...and the centaur stopped. I frowned. And he spoke. "Do you want to hear something? Something even you don't know about yourself? It tells me these things..." I sensed the centaurs broken mind, like something was controlling it. He kept babbling as he approached. I remembered the prophesy and started backing away frantically. "It tells me about you...all about you..." My eyes widened in fear. "Don't touch me!" I screeched, almost tripping over my own feet. Suddenly he dropped the sword and rushed me, faster than the human eye could process. He shoved me up against the train side and was holding me up by the throat. I heard someone scream my name. He was choking me...I could feel my strength draining. I was going to die. My sword slipped from my fingers as I gasped for air, and the madness in his eyes was like a spotlight. I summoned one last reserve of strength left and reached for my pins. I got lucky. It was the arrows. I snatched one and shoved it through the centaurs chest. The look of shock on his face was the last thing I saw before he dissolved into dust and was swept away by the wind. I fell to my knees and gasped for air. The other centaurs had gone, disappeared when their leader did. Lily ran up to me and grabbed me by the shoulders. Her voice was fuzzy. "Are you alright?" she asked me. "Never better..." I managed to whisper hoarsly before my vision grew dark and the ground rushed up to my face. (Next part next res :] thanks guys!)
