Overview

In this book, bonsai expert Paul Lesniewicz looks at those species that can successfully be kept indoors all year round. There are sections on choosing a plant or growing it from seed, planting, general care, pests and diseases, shaping, wiring and pruning, and many other aspects, simply explained to help the gardener create his or her own individual work of art.

Previously President of the German Bonsai Club, Paul Lesniewicz founded the first bonsai centre in the German-speaking world. He has for many years been actively involved in the art of Chinese and Japanese bonsai culture. He is one of the very few Europeans to be recognized as an expert in the traditional homes of bonsai-Japan and China.

If you have killed various types of trees the past, then i think this book will help you figure out which trees are more suited for an easy to grow indoor lifestyle. It is a bit of a rehash with alot of the information, but if you dont have any other books on care for bonsai then this one is also a good choice.
