About the Author

Poul William Anderson (1926-2001) was one of the authors associated with the Golden Age of Science Fiction, with many of his novellas and short stories appearing in mass market pulps of the era.

Anderson received many awards during his long career, including seven Hugo Awards, a Gandalf Grand Master, and three Nebula Awards, among others. He was named Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America Grand Master in 1997.
