I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. Another wonderfully written book by Boniface.  I loved the MC and was instantly in love with her.  The storyline flowed well and was well developed. Found it difficult to put this book down.

This is the second book in the series and I loved both. I`ll be looking for more from her.

This book proves that soul mates will always find each other. The problem that these characters had was whether or not to trust their gut instincts. This was especially hard for Aubrey because she had no memories to go on. She had amnesia (and other ailments) do to a car accident. Due to a car accident I have had personal issues of my own, and this book really made me think about life. I liked Finn. He was such a good guy that thought he was not good enough. He was willing to lose everything, because he thought that Aubrey deserved better. The mystery of who set the fire had me guessing until the end. I thought that I knew who it was, and then I kept changing my mind. This is the second book in the series, although I enjoyed it without reading the first book, and I do recommend reading the first book. There were also some questions at the end of the book that I look forward to being answered in the next installment. I also liked that the author used alternating points of view. It gave me better insight to what the characters were feeling. I am giving this book a 4/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.

This is the second amnesia story I have read in the last week, and I really enjoyed the intrigue as the MC tried to retrieve their lost memories. Stories like this pull the reader in even more, as they (the reader) feel like they’re uncovering the past alongside the MC, and they’re able to feel every emotion that comes along as the character pieces back together their life. There’s a thrilling sense of mystery, and just when I thought this story was getting too predictable, Boniface flipped everything upside down and shocking revelations were revealed. I loved Finn. I can only imagine how difficult it was for him to keep the truth hidden, both about his time with Aubrey and the Cove fire. He was dealing with demons from his past but it was like his salvation walked through the door when Aubrey re-entered his life. Their passion wasn’t fierce, it was sensual and sweet, and there was no denying that they had plenty of chemistry. I enjoyed watching them find each other again because they made a great couple, and Finn deserved to have the love of his life back where she belonged. This was an interesting read with plenty of twists and turns. Lost love was rekindled, old secrets resurfaced, and guilt over a haunting past was shed. This story was different while adopting all the makings of a great romance.

I loved it! Perfect follow up to the first in this series, Beacon of Love. I was so glad to see characters from the first book. The whole connection between Finn and Aubrey, trying to remember the past even though they're both hurt by it, worked really well for me. I was even a little surprised by the ending (in a good way) which doesn't happen a lot.  I hope there are more books in this series!
