Overview

Infidelity by Moses Miller

What if you walked into your apartment after a hard day at work and heard your spouse having sex with another woman who sounded, looked and acted just like a younger you? In the hallway you see a silk negligee, just like one you once wore, right next to matching underwear and stilettos that had had been tossed between carefully plucked rose petals decorating the floor. What if you coincidentally ran into the only other man you have ever loved in your entire life on the same day, and he is just as attracted to you as he once was? The chemistry is mutual and the timing is just right. How far would you go to heal your wounded heart? Are the sacred vows of marriage even applicable when everything you believe to be true is actually a lie? What should the penalty be for defiling the marital oath?
There are more than three sides to every story.

High expectations, as there were "writers" involved; two heads were equal to one. Limited vocabulary, simple verbage; I found the book dull. I had no connection with the characters because they were underdeveloped; I was not pulled in or drawn to either of them. Their seemed to be a village of people who's names were a blur at times. Not slamming it too hard, but this may be a read for a 20-something year old that thrives on drama rather than suspense. Not an intellectual read; nothing new.
