331 pages and 5 major plot lines running simultaneously make this a very slow read. There is no intro...the stories start and there is no idea about where the plots are going...you are thrown into the action. Average editing.. I caught at least 4 homonyms and missing words in the stories but with so much verbiage one can figure out what it means. Plot lines: Rachel and Nick The council of Lords vs the guild... freedom of representation Command Central vs the Komari Freedom of speech... M news agency covering the war with the Komari Admiral Gail Thompson vs Command Central vs the Komari They all eventually tie somewhat together but it is quite a read to get them all figured out. The story eventually gets sort of interesting but plan to spend a lot of time figuring out what's going on.
