About the Author

Julie Kushner grew up in Marlboro, New Jersey and has been a passionate writer and voracious (bordering on obsessive) reader for as long as she can remember. Having always been enthralled with and fascinated by all things media, Julie’s brain is a veritable cornucopia of facts and tidbits about the entertainment industry. These facts and tidbits have been painstakingly collected during countless hours spent watching E! News, reading Entertainment Weekly, and studying the Internet Movie Database with the same dogged intensity with which seminary school students study the King James Bible.

Julie received a B.A. in Journalism, with a concentration in Broadcast, from the Pennsylvania State University, summa cum laude, graduating first in her major, with minors in both Psychology and Law and Liberal Arts. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Julie went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School, where she received a merit scholarship and was selected and served as a Legal Research and Writing Fellow for two years. Julie currently resides in Hoboken, New Jersey with her adorable cat, Piglet.

In addition to InGENEious, Ms. Kushner has authored two other novels: Life Sucks, Death Bites and Hollywood Warlock. She also writes the blog, TV Recappers Anonymous, which, since its inception in January 2010, has received upwards of 2.5 million hits, averages about 5,000 visits per day, and is read in over 30 different countries. TV Recappers Anonymous can be found at the following web address:
