Chapter One

    Absorption

Fill my words with oil O Lord,
    secrete my bones with fluids.
Cause me to live the life I pray for,
leaving puddles in my footprints behind me.

Saturate my being with Your anointing,
    soak my entire core.
    Flush out all impurities,
    dissolving even the residue
that may eventually line my walls.

Reach down for me as if I were a wineskin,
draw nigh to me with Your mouth.
    Drink of my fluids
that I may become one with You,
gaining a stronghold onto my inheritance.

    Sweeten to taste
    the beverage You long for,
allow my praise to be gratifying.
Oh drink of this wineskin O Lord,
how I desire to be one with You!

What are wine offerings and where are they found in the scriptures?

Both Jews and Greeks poured wine out on the altar in connection with religious sacrifice.

Reference Numbers 15:1–10

In Philippians 2:17–18, Paul refers to himself as a wine offering.

"Yes, and if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. For the same reason you also be glad and rejoice with me."

New King James Version

All Because You Loved Me

For me my Lord
You were set-aside;
nailed to a cross
where You bled and died.
Placed behind a rock
is where Your body lies;
my face pressed against the tomb
and here I cry.

As I picture the blood
falling from above Your brow,
imagining the pain the torment
and so on I cry.

Stone rolled away,
Your garments clean and dry;
You bled, died, and risen,
clear to me the reason why.

All because You loved me,
You were sacrificed and crucified,
in order to fulfill the word,
You gave up the ghost and died.

Indeed my lord,
I will always remember
and love You!

The true meaning of Easter

1 John 4:14

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.

John 4:42

Then they said to the woman, "Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world."

Matthew 27:35

Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet ...

New King James Version

Scripture reference of poem content: Matthew 26:2, 27:59–66, 28:1–7, 12:40 and 16:21,

    A Reminder

    Oh heaven, sweet heaven,
    it's what I live for,
    what I long for,
    where I desire to go!

    To hear my name called,
counted worthy and fit for the kingdom,
    an honored worker,
    and beloved of my father.

    Audible inclinations,
    choice words of inspiration,
"Well done my good and faithful servant,"
sweet vibrations that will fill my ears.

For what are troubles, obstacles, and pains
within a race that is worth running for?
It's an honored task that is worth completing.

I will count it all joy for heavens sake,
because it's what I live for,
    what I long for,
    where I desire to go.
    Oh heaven, sweet heaven!

John 14:1–4

"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know."

Psalm 119:81

My soul faints for Your salvation But I hope in Your word.

New King James Version

    Babbles

    Who am I?
Who and what am I fighting against?
Is this a war of love?
Am I warring against the love of my sins,
or battling against He who is the greatest love of all?

    Where am I?
    (Stumbling upon a terrain)

    For I'm blinded in battle
and I don't quite know where I stand.
Like an Amalekite running into a strange land.
It seems that I've been lead astray as my enemies beguile me.

    Friends or foes?
    (Stares with intensity)

Are they wolves in sheep's clothing?
Or are they rams that's just as savage as wolves?
Am I being positioned to win or lose?
Lord open my eyes so that I can see!

    Where am I?
    Who am I?
    In devastation I plead!

    Lord help me!

Behold a Woman

A woman's beauty can be seen outside,
but the truth of her essence is within.
For it is not pertinent to her age or shape,
but found in her confidence that complies from the knowledge about
ones self.
Her confidence guides her heart, her heart rules her thoughts, her
thoughts produce the patterns of her character which emits from her
aura.

For the Lord is her confidence.
He gives her the freedom to believe in the nature of
who she has been created to be, to involve herself in the thoughts and
inspirations of knowing the truth of who He is, and obtaining those
of who she is to become.
Truth brings understanding, understanding brings confidence,
confidence brings magnetism, and magnetism distinguishes the
authenticity of His creation in that of a woman.

Behold a woman,
an authentic woman,
implausibly unpretentious,
full of femininity, confidently striking, and
exceptionally charming!
For she is His master piece of creation
and a remarkable reflection
of the beauty
of her Deity!

Psalms 139 Verses: 1, 3, 5–6, 13–18 Bold captions are a quick reference

O'Lord, You have searched me and known me. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. You have hedged me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it. For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous areYour works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.

New King James Version

Honor yourself fully!

1 Thessalonians 4:4 states that each of us should know how to possess our own vessel in sanctification and honor ...

Though this scripture is centered on sexual purity, it is still a very valid point that one should honor oneself fully in everything! How you see yourself emanates from your aura; people will perceive your thoughts and base their treatment of you from their perceptions! However, there are some who will try to distort your view and create another identity for you.

Take a stand for YOU! Fight properly for your character, your honor, your integrity, and your respect!

Be confident in whose and who you are, for it will produce great results in all areas of your life!

Thought-provoking rewards!

If the mirror of someone else's beauty or success provokes you to jealousy and stirs up hatred, then you have just reflected how ugly and poor in spirit you have become.

Yet, if the mirror of someone else's beauty or success causes you to be zealous and excel you in love and above likeness, then you have just reflected the greatness in your spirit and the future beauty of others.

Question?

Do we have to think of someone else's short comings to make us happy? As people and sad to say, as Christians, it is amazing what makes us happy or makes us feel better about ourselves.

I read an e-mail that was in poem format named "A Special Poem Just For You." It talked about how there will always be someone prettier, smarter or well-off than you. Then it goes on to say that these people may have problems and situations that in so many words, have a life that is less fortunate than yours.

Three of its comments read as follows:

"The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart. The most highly favored woman on your job may be unable to have children. The richest woman you know, she's got the car, the house, the clothes ~ might be lonely ..."

And as it goes on to say towards the end: "Love who you are. Look in the mirror in the morning and smile and say, 'I am too blessed to be stressed and too anointed, to be disappointed!'" So, is this to say that the thought of someone else's failures, short comings or heartbreaks make us feel better about ourselves. Does it make us out to be better people and more blessed or anointed than them? Why can't we love ourselves because of who created us and embrace the purpose behind how we were created. If something is in need of change within us and can be changed, God will give us the wisdom to change or fix it. It seems to me that these are shallow thoughts that, if, turned around the opposite outcome can cause depression in us, where we once allowed conceit and self-righteousness to dwell. We are not happier because we don't have shortcomings or problems. We are happier because we have a proper outlook on life. We carry the spirit of Christ which gives us hope to share in great and wonderful things. We believe that great things are going to happen in our lives, no matter how or by what way it comes; because we have learned to trust Him and His direction. What about that old saying?: 'Be nice to the people going up because you may see the same ones on your way down' or 'Be nice to your neighbor because you never know if he or she may become someone important or of great magnitude.' This is all shallow thinking! Be kind to people period and pursue peace because it is an instruction from God. Don't embrace a person based on future fame or popularity; that's not sincerity that's deceitfulness. We should embrace them because of the greatest commandment and requirement for obtaining our future inheritance and that is love.

Just a conveyed thought!

Acumen

A man's speech is an introduction to his character and his character is an observation of his strengths and weaknesses.

    Beloved Chrysalis

I have come to a place
where I can live and begin my growth.
I have evolved and am ready to transform,
but you have somehow located my designated place.

    I'm not able to escape with my small frail body;
I don't have legs to run or wings to fly.
I am only able to spin silk, hang around, and wait.
    Although I am in danger,
the time has come for me to form my chrysalis.

All I desired was to mature and forget my past.
I wanted to add flight to my future,
    to be one with nature and the spirit within;
but, you have found me in my secret place.
I now lay prey to that enemy at hand, to be violated,
cheated of my life and growth.

Just like the stories of old that was told to me.
You laid wait for me until I just about finalized it,
and before it could shrink, you snatched it from me.
You have robbed me of my chrysalis, adding to your collection,
    making garments for yourself,
    exposing my past once again!

You used my hard labor as a reward for your evil
and have clothed your friends with my silk.
Now you glory in your thievery
that resulted in my pain and possible death.
    But regardless of the pain,
I will live and not die!
I will start my process over,
in hopes that you will never again find me.

But even if you did find me,
    God will surely deliver me,
and cursed you will be if you try again to destroy me!
These are not my words, but are His,
"Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm."

Please stop violating the processes of Christ!

Psalms 119:161

Princes persecute me without a cause, but my heart stands in awe of Your word.

Psalms 119:143

Trouble and anguish have overtaken me, yet Your commandments are my delights.

New King James Version

    Chatter

    You call me friend,
but you can't comprehend the term communication.
You said that you will be there for me,
but you leave me standing, wondering
why we were not able to communicate effectively.
You said that you cared for me,
but you've left me standing without an explanation.
You've become awkwardly reticent in areas that address me,
and all of this has become somewhat embarrassing.

Is the life that I live that conflicting
that your principles on life suggest that mine have imbalances?
Let's understand that we both bring differences,
but with the differences we bring,
we are supposed to pull out each others uniqueness.
    Love is a character trait that must be embraced;
it employs understanding and avoids belligerent dispositions.

Where is compassion and a true heart to love?
    Where is the unconditional aspect
that binds lives with loves true identity?
It is only in communication and comprehension
that we will reach the heart of our Deity,
along with embracing the scriptures in an ultimate quest for us to
    possess a true love anointing!

Brace yourself! this translation is roughly stated but is truth.

Matthew 7:1–5

Don't pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults—unless, of course, you want the same treatment. That critical spirit has a way of boomeranging. It's easy to see a smudge on your neighbor's face and be oblivious to the ugly sneer on your own. Do you have the nerve to say, 'Let me wash your face for you,' when your own face is distorted by contempt? It's this whole traveling road-show mentality all over again, playing a holier-than-thou part instead of just living your part. Wipe that ugly sneer off your own face, and you might be fit to offer a washcloth to your neighbor.

2 Timothy 2:22–26

Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

New International Version

Proverbs 4:20–27 Bold captions are quick reference

My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you. Let your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.

New King James Version

Proverbs 3:7

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil.

Proverbs 17:17

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

1 Peter 1:22–23

Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever....

John 15:12–13

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.

New King James Version

Thoughts on Communication

We often find time to communicate, but it is sad to say that most people and those who classify themselves as Christians are not truly honest with the words they utter. This is a fact and should be observed in our day to day living. This observation can eliminate future heartbreaks and disappointments from other people if we just listen and observe.

Here is a conveyed thought: Communication is transpired verbally, as well as physically. It can be masked behind thoughts that are released by way of actions and words through insinuations or via body language. You never have to guess what a person feels or thinks about you. They give clarity of their thoughts by their comments and suggestions. Their comments will iterate their thoughts concerning your intellect, as well as your character. Their actions display their attitude towards your intellect, as well as your character.
