Chapter One...

What happens when you don't know what comes next?

Jacob Wild has had a lucrative writing career, but somewhere along the way he misplaced his muse. Now, unable to put anything on paper, he's resorted to hanging out in the neighborhood coffee shop with a pen and paper, trying to find something to spark his creativity again.

That's when he meets her.

Presley Abrams.

The coral-haired, tattooed beauty with the piercing gray eyes and sweet smile draws his attention in a way no woman before her ever has. Jake soon learns that when he's around her his world is set to rights once more. Presley sparks something inside him and not just his ability to put words on paper.

But, Presley's not the easiest woman to get close to and Jake finds himself trying to answer the burning question:

Does happily ever after only exist in fiction?

This is a standalone novel

I just loved this book. I loved the way it was written, I adored the characters, and I loved the story within the story. Presley and Jacob were great together, and the interactions between them and between all the other characters had me smiling while reading. I just didn't want the story to end.

5 star I was pulled right into this story. This is Presley and Jacob’s story. Jacob is a writer with writers block. Presley is an artist that brings Jacob back to life. She is passionate and complicated. Jacob’s whole life seems brighter when he is around Presley. Can they be each other’s muse? Can they really inspire each other in the different things they need to do? Will that also lead to love? Presley is not very trusting and to be able to gain her trust is something Jacob must do. Can he gain it and keep it? With both of them being complicated in their own way it makes for a really great story. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I highly recommend this book.

What a tantalizing read... Inked on Paper was an unexpected treat. I knew it was going to be good but it surpassed all my expectations. Nicole Edwards is amazingly talented. This is a story within a story and it will keep you turning the pages. Jacob Wild is a well known author who has found himself in a slump. He is suffering from writers block, with a deadline just around the corner. Presley Abrams Uniquely beautiful, talented tattoo artist, and ink model who is going through a bit of a creativity block herself. While both are in search for their muse, could they possibly find happily ever after ? Inked on Paper is a standalone, but I could definitely go for more of ALL the character in this story. First this is not your normal book from Nicole Edwards. I did love it though! As I read this story I knew I was reading about Nicole herself. How she doesn't like to be in the spotlight and other things. To read and understand the writing process that an author goes through to give us the readers the books we love is just amazing to me!! There is a lot of internal dialogue leading up to the heart of the story. I absolutely love the two main characters Jacob "Jake" Wild and Presley Abrams. One of the most clever things is you get a book within the book. Two for the price of one if you will. Jake an author suffering from a mind block and Presley an artist who is also suffering from a ming block and still suffering from a broken heart. They become each others muse and work through the mind blocks and Jake helps heal her heart. I also love the two main characters that are in Jake's book "Unexpected" Donovan Brushwood and Kora Madison. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Inked On Paper and Unexpected which is at the end of the book.
