It took me a few pages to get into this book, but once you get who and how everyone is related to each other this book really starts to draw you into the story, and you cannot stop reading! You will have great empathy for this young girl and feel good that there are people willing to get involved and help. I have always held the belief that our society will someday be judged by how well we have kept our children protected - we have our work cut out for us!

WOW!!! While reading this story, I never would have thought it was total fiction. It seemed extremely realistic. I felt I knew the characters, & was totally caught up in their lives. I couldn't put it down & read it in one sitting. This author has a unique voice & I can not wait to read more from her! She has a wonderful mission...for adults to understand how they truly effect how the kids around them will be as adults & the adults need to take responsibility for that.

This was an amazing story line! My mother, aunt, and I all finished this story in 24 hours. I commend the author for the piece because although I did notice a few grammar and spelling errors, she did a superb job self editing. The book was a little drawn out and started to annoy me because I wanted to know what was going on. But!! That was also what kept me from putting it down. Good job!
