How many times when teaching in elementary school has a question come up regarding the human body? Why is my hair red? Why do people have different color eyes, skin, etc.? What is blood? You understand where I am going with these type of questions, this book covers all possible questions that might be asked. This book should be placed in every classroom, library that children attend or visit. The illustrations are colorful and can be seen when sharing with groups of children. I give this book five stars.

I was surprised to find this book. Love the pull-out features and the details and usefulness of the illustrations. The cover is eye catching. The approach by the author to explain complex systems is perfect for a young person. I bought 12 books to give to friends with children--Christmas presents.
