Lia Riley's Off the Map series comes to a stunning conclusion.

Love is their best adventure yet . . .

Talia Stolfi is deeply in love with the brooding Aussie surfer who stole her heart-but their infrequent letters only get her so far. While she fulfills her dream of being in the Peace Corps, a dangerous condition jeopardizes her life . . . and threatens to shatter her heart.

After nearly losing Talia forever, Bran Lockhart sailed to the stormy seas at the ends of the earth. Deep down, he knows that all roads worth traveling lead back to the beautiful California girl with the sunny smile. There's no denying that he belongs with her, but to have her by his side means Bran must dare to do something he's never done before: hope.

Everything they've fought for has come down to this moment. Can Talia and Bran discover the courage to claim their future and learn that sometimes, in order to earn true love, you need to venture off the map?

About the Author

After studying at the University of Montana-Missoula, Lia Riley scoured the world armed only with a backpack, overconfidence and a terrible sense of direction. When not torturing heroes (because c'mon, who doesn't love a good tortured hero?), Lia herds unruly chickens, camps, beach combs, daydreams about as-of-yet unwritten books, wades through a mile-high TBR pile and schemes yet another trip. She and her family live mostly in Northern California.

AudioBook Review: Stars: Overall: 5 Narration: 4 Story: 5 Picking up right where Sideswiped left off, this story finishes the tale of Talia and Bran, and their relationship. The series isn’t over, as some of the secondary characters get their own moments in the spotlight. You can’t really jump into the middle of this series, you’ll be confused AND you will lose the impact of the growth and journey, missing just how real these characters have become. Talia, I feel, grew the most in this series: she was incredibly selfish and scattered when we were first introduced, and while the start of her relationship with Bran was full of drama and back and forth, the connection was palpable and they did go through it. Sideswiped really played with the expiration date on their relationship, and several twists had me wondering just what could happen next. And then… Lia Riley delivered a story full of heart, several crazy twists and an ending that was just how it should, and could be. It wasn’t explosive, unlike much of their relationship, but a gradual descent into reality: the reality of the world around you and the pressures that come to bear. Of all the choices I could have imagined, I never believed that it would be so fitting, and so satisfying. Well played author…. Seriously well played. Narrators Brittany Uomoleale and Tim Wright have returned again, and their familiar presence, picking up in character, tone, voices and delivery from the earlier books gives a sense of constancy in the series. Their voices are appropriate for the ages of the characters, the dialogue works perfectly with a dual narration team, and the interplay between the narrators seems to develop a feel of its own, adding the emotional component that is so needed in this story. Certainly a favorite combination of story, narration and writing style, if you like NA – this is one to grab. I received an audiobook copy of the title via Hachette Audio for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

Through each of Talia and Bran's hurdles, so far, they've always seemed to be able to stay together. Will they be able to continue to face the challenges life tosses their way? Will they overcome them all, once again, to see that love prevails?  Ms. Riley has done an awesome job with this series and little did I know when I read the first book just how completely HOOKED I'd be! It's like I couldn't live without these captivating characters and I became obsessed. I couldn't (and didn't want to) put any of these books down before I read every last word. The characters become a part of you. The emotional upheavals they live and breathe, but always seem to overcome, kept me coming back for more. She totally rocked Inside Out! Ms. Riley did an awesome job of keeping me devoted and i absolutely look forward, with bated breath, to every novel she brings us in the forever future! 5+ Stars!

That bicep though. ;) But really, these covers are so pretty! When I first began this series, I figured I was jumping into another contemporary NA where: Girl meets Boy (in this case, halfway around the world). They flirt. They kiss. They do----smexy stuff. Girl has a traumatic past, Boys attempts to fix her. They breakup. Get back together. More smexy stuff. Live HEA. The End. But that isn't what happened with this series. At all. Instead, I got a front row seat to what a real relationship between two people who are complex, quirky and flawed looks like. Bran and Talia aren't even from the same country, let alone the same Continent, so they have to work extra hard if they want to make a go at this thing called, LIFE, together. And they do. They're there for each other in good times and bad, sickness and health, success and failure...I now pronounce you, Bran and Talia! But seriously, when one is caught in a riptide of insecurity and self-loathing, the other one dives right in and helps keep them afloat until they both make it back to shore. When one of them is struggling to overcome their demons and wants to find an easy way out, the other reminds them, the only way out is through. Because that's what you do when you love someone. I enjoyed watching Bran and Talia grow, both as individuals and as a couple and INSIDE OUT is the perfect ending for the OFF THE MAP series! I'm really going to miss them.
