So beautiful I love the format so much!

When they are a bit older, I think my daughters will love the NLT Inspire Bible for Girls from Carolyn Larsen and Tyndale Publishers. The beautiful cover shimmers and is so girly. I would not consider this a hardcover Bible as it’s cover is more like a sturdy cardstock. However, the provided sleeve adds protection and I expect it to hold it up nicely as long as the sleeve is used. The Inspire Bible for Girls boasts over 500 illustrations. Many of those are phrases or complete verses taken directly from the Scripture passages on that page. Some of the phrases are accompanied by an additional object (flowers, frame, animals, etc.) to color. I especially liked the divider pages between the books of the Bible. These divider pages offered lots of coloring opportunity while introducing some of the key verses in the upcoming book. Very pretty. In addition to illustrations for coloring, the Inspire Bible for Girls includes lined pages for taking notes, journaling prompts, and short devotional thoughts. I did not read all of the devotionals, but what I did read seemed appropriate for an older child or teen. It’s written with a traditional, evangelical perspective and often asks questions to prompt self-examination before offering a prepared prayer. Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book through the publisher’s My Reader Rewards program. I was not required to write a review. All opinions in this review are my own.

What a beautiful Bible for girls! I believe this would be a wonderful gift for any girl who loves to color. But not only does this Bible have beautiful artwork to color in, there are also fun facts sprinkled throughout the text, a Key Scripture Verses page at the beginning of each individual book of the Bible, pages that are a nice thickness, and an easily readable font. Along with all of the above features, there are also devotional sections throughout this Bible that are very easy to read and understand, making this a great choice for diving into God’s word. I received a complimentary copy of this Bible. All opinions are my own.

INSPIRE BIBLE FOR GIRLS is an absolutely beautiful Bible that tween and teen girls will be absolutely thrilled to be seen carrying. Not only that, but it has all these fun extras: Lines to journal on, pictures to color, fun facts, and devotions. My teen girls are both wanting the copy I got to review so I may end up buying one. It comes in different colors than the one shown, so if white with pink isn't your style you have options. The pages are very thin and I recommend using coloring pencils to color and not markers. The markers soak through the paper. The print is very readable and easy on the eyes even for a middle-age adult, so if you love this and aren't a tween, it is readable. Not available in KJV - so won't work for that crowd unless they use it for the journalling and coloring purposes. I love this Bible and recommend it for girls who love to journal and color - and don't mind the NLT. I was given a copy free. All opinions are my own.

As a grandparent, it was a privilege to be given the opportunity to review this Bible for girls. The Inspire Bible for Girls is beautifully bound and sure to delight every young girl. The combination of the cover colors, which are a soft pink and turquoise, and the accents, which have sparkle to them, are sure to draw a girl into opening the pages. Written in the New Living Translation makes this a version which is easy to read, understand, and absorb. This is a creative journaling Bible which includes prayers, coloring pages, and key truths sure to help girls grow more deeply in their faith. These added features were a bonus: Beautiful 2-color interior 500+ line-art illustrations to color – including over 75 new designs 300+ devotional readings and prayers written just for girls 160+ journaling prompts paired with devotionals 65 key Scripture verse pages for coloring and memorization 64 fun fact lists highlighting interesting facts for each book of the Bible When I presented the Bible to my granddaughter, I asked her to spend a few minutes exploring the contents and then write down her thoughts. This was her response: “I like that there is space for writing notes down. It will be fun to also color the Scriptures and pictures while reading my Bible. This Bible will help me to learn more about God and His love for us.” (Sophia, age 10) This is a wonderful resource for preteen girls but I do think it will hold its appeal into the early teenage years. This Bible would make a beautiful gift and is sure to be well loved for many years. *Tyndale House Publishers has provided me with a complimentary copy of this book. The opinions are all my own.

Inspire for Girls is a beautiful, interactive, and creative NLT Bible. It is marketed toward girls, but is suitable for any age. I love the provided spaces to journal or draw as you spend time in the Word of God, and the illustrations to color are so pretty. The Bible comes in an attractive, sturdy slip case for storage, helping protect it when placed on a bookshelf. The soft cover design is shiny, sparkly, and colorful. I love the feminine colors and designs. Inside, there are so many interactive ways to worship and meditate. The book showcases numerous designs to color, devotions, journaling prompts, fun facts, and of course, Scripture. I’m a creative person, so I love journaling Bibles and interactive worship tools. The NLT is an easy to read Bible translation that provides insight to many passages I’ve read many times but didn’t fully understand with other versions. Inspire for Girls is a lovely hands-on Bible and makes a valuable, meaningful gift to young and old alike. I only wish it came with an attached ribbon marker for place keeping. I received a complimentary copy of this book from TyndaleBlogNetwork.

"Shine Brightly for Jesus!" it says on the cover of the overwrap on the new Inspire for Girls paperback Bible. As a young girl, I would have loved this Bible to put my creative spirit to work shining for Him. The Inspire Bible for Girls, paperback edition, is much nicer than I expected for a paperback. The cover is a firm, heavy paper and I like that it has a slip cover to protect it. I would think this Bible would stay quite nice over time with care and the protection of the slip cover. I was a little surprised when I received this Bible that it was a little smaller than I expected at 6 1/8" x 7 7/8." However, I think I would have liked that size quite well to carry back and forth to church as young girl. I have the adult-sized version of the Inspire Bible that is larger but it isn't one I carry to church. The Inspire Bible for Girls is a pretty, feminine pink and teal color that I especially like. Not only is the outside pretty, but the inside is two-tone as well. Inside, it has over 500 illustrations to color and more than 300 devotional readings and prayer written especially for girls. Along with the readings, there are journaling prompts paired with the devotionals. Other places in the Bible highlight interesting facts for each book of the Bible. There are also 64 key Scripture verse pages for memorizing and for coloring, which I think would help the girl memorize the Scripture even better. I like all of the space to take notes and journal in this Bible. I especially like the readings that feature verses and end with short prayers. While it is aimed at girls ages eight and up, I definitely enjoy it too. If you would rather have a nicer cover, this Bible is also available in a metallic blue hardcover which is both pretty and protective. I would recommend this gorgeous Bible for creative young girls and women of all ages. I received a copy of this book from Tyndale House Publishers. I was not required to write a positive review.

I know that this Bible is marketed towards girls 8 years old and up but I love it as well! Pink and blue is my favorite color combination and the cover is full of those colors…there are also flamingos on the spine! The cover of this Bible is very girly and the silver accents really shine. I was a bit wary of the paperback cover as I own some paperback Bibles and they are very flimsy. This cover is very durable…it’s more like a cardboard cover and if taken care of, seems like it will last for a long time. The Bible comes with a nice slipcase box for storage. There are so many great features in this Bible: -There are over 500 illustrations to color and the illustrations are very pretty…they range from very simple designs to much more intricate. -There are over 300 devotionals and prayers geared towards girls…the devotions focus on scripture but also use real life situations that young ladies may be facing. Each devotional ends with a prayer. -Over 160 journaling prompts: These are in the margins and have questions that prompt the reader to ponder things found in the scriptures and apply them to their lives -Key scripture verse coloring pages: This is one of my favorite features…at the beginning of each book, there is a coloring page with key scripture verses found in that book. -Fun Facts: These are sprinkled throughout the book and contain interesting facts about the stories and scriptures. -There is also a topical index of the devotionals in the front of the book that is very handy. Devotionals cover a variety of topics including Laziness, sadness, suffering, sin, complaining, self image, etc. The Bible is in the NLT translation which is one of my favorite translations as it is very reader friendly and easy to understand. I highly recommend this Bible, I love it and I know that many young ladies would love it too! I received this Bible from the publisher to review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
