This book is freaking fantastic, the characters in this book deal with real life problems, and for the most part, they do it in an adult way, they don't just assume the worst. The characters are so real that it makes you feel as though you know them on a personal level. Ace is fantastic, he is handsome, hot, smart, lovable and sometimes a bit sarcastic. Layne is lovable, feisty, and the perfect compliment to Ace. Oh, did I mention that Ace is also a daddy? His little girl River is the cutest thing ever, and she will tug at your heartstrings. Layne has been sent out of town by her boss, to deal with some emotional issues she is going through caused by her crappy ex-boyfriend. The town she visits is a small one, where everyone knows everyone, and nobody is a stranger for long. Layne meets River first which was truly a blessing, but her initial meeting with Ace left a lot to be desired, whew, that man can be a jerk when the situation warrants it! I will stop there because I don't want to give away anything, but you must read this book, especially if you love romance. Ace and Layne are such great characters, that talk to one another and actually listen. River is simply adorable, and the scenes with "Frankie" melted my heart. So be prepared for an emotional read that will have you laughing, crying, and squealing with delight. But also be prepared for a book that is not full of angst and drama, although it does have quite a few twists and turns, and a few moments when you say "I didn't see that coming". Five amazing stars for A.D. Justice and Intent!!

A.D. Justice captures her readers attention right from the very first chapter. When readers are introduced to Layne and the giant tragedy that is her life, their hearts go out to the heartbroken female lead. When she runs away to her bosses cabin in a remote little town, Layne cannot help but try to get over the past and start her new future without her lying, cheating boyfriend and best friend. Right from the very moment she meets Ace, the two are drawn together, especially with Ace's little girl River. The instant attraction and chemistry between Ace and Layne cannot be denied, and the two soon become fast friends and lovers. In a heartwarming tale of love, loss, friendship and moving on, will capture the hearts of Justice's readers and leave them wanting more. The characters in this novel showcase what it means to move on and forward and to find true love. A.D. Justice writes a heartwarming tale that is a great read, especially for anyone who believes in true love and second chances. Intent is a great novel and a definite must addition on your To-Be-Read-Shelf.

Reviewed by Heather Osborne for Readers' Favorite Intent by A.D. Justice is a contemporary romance centering around Layne Elliot. Desperately wanting a baby, Layne has been trying with her boyfriend, Bobby. However, when she catches him cheating, her boss at work offers her an opportunity to spend some time away and gather her thoughts. Enter Ace Sharp, an equine rehabilitator, who lives opposite the vacation home Layne’s boss has offered to her for the summer. Sparks fly between the pair, and Layne falls instantly for Ace and his little daughter, River. Still, Layne is left questioning things in Ace’s past, and old flames resurface with unknown intent. However, with summer drawing to a close, and her job back in New York waiting, what will Layne decide? Intent by A.D. Justice ticks all the boxes if you want an easy-to-read romance, with a likeable hero and heroine. Ace and Layne click instantly in the novel, although a bit too instantly for my liking, despite knowing this is very possible in real life. I loved Ace’s relationship with his little daughter, and how he doted on her completely. I felt though that real conflict was lacking in Layne and Ace’s relationship. It was almost too perfect for me, and there was no doubt in my mind as a reader that they would end up together. However, there were no major flaws in the storyline, and every loose end was tied up nicely. This is an excellent novel for someone searching for a breezy read on a summer day.

Reviewed by Rabia Tanveer for Readers' Favorite Intent by A.D. Justice is an OMG! inducing romance that will have you sighing throughout. There is absolutely nothing I would want Miss Justice to change about her book. This is perfection, my fellow readers, simply perfection. The story is about Layne and Ace. Layne was in a toxic relationship, which was not going anywhere she wanted it to. She wanted it all; the marriage, the children, and the happily ever after. But when the man she loved was not capable of giving her all of this, and cheated on her, she had no choice but to move on. When she goes on a little R and R vacation, she discovers that love can be found in the most unusual places and unusual forms. Ace was really not looking for love. His heart was filled with love for his daughter, River. He finds that his heart has some space for Layne if she will give him a chance. But when you have been hurt so badly, is your heart still capable of trusting someone else with it? This is the romance of the year; I have no doubt about that. Ace and Layne are perfect for each other. In a time when writers are moving more towards steamy scenes and less towards actual plot, Intent is refreshing and so very good. The characters were perfectly crafted. Ace is an Alpha male without being boorish and Layne is not annoyingly submissive. They are a team and a couple because they understood each other, and became each other’s friend before becoming a couple. I absolutely loved that! A fantastic, amazing and romantic read!

Once again A.D. Justice created an amazing unforgettable couple , who's love story is so beautiful I couldn't put it down. Layne is a lawyer who is wanting and tring to start a family with her boyfriend of several years. When her eggs are at a prime she rushes to her boyfriends apartment to get some baby making time she finds her best friend with her legs in the air and her boyfriend already getting practice time with out her. Layne life hits an all time low and her boss sends her away for some much needed time to find herself. Ace Sharp just happens to be her single neighbor and he is one fine country boy who is already in love with River, his daughter, ovaries go Boom. Instantly Layne and River have a relationship that is so cute and it really saves Laynes heart are at least thaws it out. Ace and Layne have been hurt before so with guarded hearts they finally give in to the attraction they have with one another its the best story ever. Not to forget the crazy baby Momma that returns, the abused horse, and the pregnant teen, mixed with small town gossip and barn owls. This is a must read for anyone that loves a love story, it gives you all the feels and you become obsessed with these characters. I loved Layne she is a sweetie but also has a back bone and her love for everyone else was an incredible thing to read, I want to be more like her. Ace is such a wonderful father and care so much about Layne he is defintley a huge hottie in my book everyone needs a Ace in their life. This story had just the right amount of suspense and drama. I can see myself reading this book over and over. The only thing that threw me was the cover I knew it was Ace but I just didn't see country boy but then it clicked and I think it was perfect.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Left reeling after the betrayal by her longtime boyfriend Bobby and her now ex-best friend Cyndi, Layne Elliott has been forced to take a sabbatical. She finds herself in a serene setting outside of a small town in Georgia thanks to her boss and mentor Marcia. As she tries to sort out the mess that has become her life, she finds herself and many truths she failed to allow herself to see. Ace Sharp didn't know what was missing from his life until he stumbles upon the beautiful stranger staying in the cabin next door. His life has revolved around his feisty and precocious daughter, River. He has a thriving equine therapy practice which takes most of his time but he can't seem to get the beautiful Northerner out of his mind and River is no help in the matter. This story grabbed my attention from the very beginning. I loved reading the evolution of the characters and how their lives intertwined. There are even a few unexpected twists in the story. My heart both broke and soared for these characters and I hope they will be visited again in a later book because I can definitely see a story involving Lily (Ace's sister) and Justin (Ace's best friend and partner).

I have to say I really enjoyed this book. It was sweet and romantic and one of those books that's full of the feels that leave you feeling happy after it. There were a few parts, particularly, towards the end, that I felt were a little rushed over, but overall, the story sucked me in and flowed well, the characters were likeable and it ended on a real high. I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
