Overview

This box set included the four previously novel: Jihad in Tel Aviv - Cicada - Jihad in Jerusalem - Jihad in Gaza.

This is a story of true love, or better yet, is the act of love of a people against their country.

The daily fight for survival, death always waiting to ambush, known and unknown enemies determined to plant terror and destruction, the anguish for all that could happen in a month, in a day, in an hour...All of this is also a story of love in the most classic sense of the word, an impassioned and impossible love between a man and a woman who desperately love each other but for whom destiny has placed on opposite sides of the barricade.

The Cohen family gave a large blood contribution to the Israeli cause: father Eran was killed while fighting heroically in combat.
Mother Hodaya is a true mother; courageous, thoughtful, and loving with her family, but also proudly aware of the value of sacrifice for the defense of the state. Avner is the firstborn, followed by two daughters: Ariel, a restless fifteen year old, anxious to contribute to the cause of her country and Yael, 21 years old, enlisted as a security agent due to her innate ability to lead and above all due to her prodigious IQ. Soon enough the girl will assume the lead of a special unit of analysts, information programmers, and mathematicians, who can unveil and thwart the most serious attempted attacks on the heart of the State of Israel.

The story begins the day of the commemoration of Eran Cohen, hero of war.
In front of the family and other representatives of the State, the Rabbi remembers the picture of a man who, beyond his generous military service, practiced with great passion sports. He recalls the courage and determination; he recalls the delusion that, when still a boy, a Russian athlete, naturalized as an israeli, was preferred to him on the wrestling team of the Olympics of Monaco, and his mixed anger and pain in front of the coffins of the athletes after the attack. A strange, incomprehensible twist of fate...
In the crowded cemetery the words of the rabbi flow together with the emotions, with the silent memories of those present.
At the end of the ceremony, right when mothers and daughters were determining the arrangements for the following Tuesday, a surprise birthday party for Avner, Yael is approached by another official of Mossad: the next day she will have to bring herself to General Quarters for an important communication.
