This book was excellent. I could not put it down until I finished it!!!The turmoil Julianne indures with her first job, her mother & sister and then the boyfriend Steve. When Jack/John enters her world it seems like prince charming is there to sweep her off her feet. But is it real?? Please keep writing I will look forward to more stories from this author.

Julianne DeAngelo is just a few weeks away from saying ¿I do¿ to her finance¿, Steve, when she catches him getting a little cozy with her sister. Julianne decides that all bets are off as she makes the decision to meet the man that she has been talking with on a chat forum for many months. Julianne is in school for marketing and sees an opportunity to get some real experience in the working world, and also to be around Jack Guilder, her internet mentor. Julianne poses as Jack¿s wife to win over a big client at Jack¿s business and takes a ride on an emotional roller coaster. Does she like him? Does he like her? Should she go back with Steve, who is forever following her around and begging her to go back with him? Did she make a big mistake by finally putting a face to that man behind the keyboard? Things get out of hand when Steve starts to get angry and does something that will force Julianne to give him her attention. Meanwhile, Julianne moves in with Jack because she has no place to live, so things on the romance front are slowly starting to heat up. Working together and now living together, these two people are trying to break through the walls of hurt that surround them from past relationships and see if they can create something magical. Will it work out? Or will Steve get desperate enough and do something that will affect Jack and Julianne¿s life permanently? Karla Brandenburg definitely kept the reader at their seat and crossing their fingers in hopes of Julianne and Jack ending up together. She throws in some nice twists to make it the not-so-average romance book. Keeping the ex fiancé¿ in throughout the whole book to stir up a little drama, helped to keep the excitement coming. Also, this story line was made to feel as though this scenario could happen to any person it felt very real-life. Julianne has a mom who favors her sister and seems a little unstable and unfair. Her sister, Suzanne, is a typical sister who isn¿t perfect and who uses her looks to get what she wants. This reminds me of something that anyone can go through in a family. Families aren¿t always perfect and sometimes they just downright stink, but we still love them and do our best to get through life. This is what Julianne does. She has these very real problems with her family and grits her teeth and pushes through the stress. I would definitely recommend this romance novel. It is a quick read, filled with just enough adventure and excitement to keep you turning the pages so you can find out what¿s going to happen. Karla Brandenburg does a great job at keeping the reader interested.
