About the Author

Simona Taylor dreams up scorching romance in her native Caribbean island of Trinidad. She's found a sensual setting is half the pleasure to be found in reading—and writing—a book. While Simona loves to show off the charms of Trinidad and its sister island, Tobago, she has also set her romances in the south of France, Barcelona, Martinique, and the fictional city of Santa Amata in the eastern United States. She has three literary novels under her real name, Roslyn Carrington.

This is the dumbest book I have ever tried to read! I can't tell anything about the charcters. She discribes him as a White Male, but the cover shows a black man. This book is all over the place. I am not even finished, but really don't bother wasting your money.

I have read Ms. Taylor previous books, "Dear Rita" & "Meet me in Paris" and enjoyed them but this one didn't seem like her usual writing. I did not connect with the characters and the story was not believable. Why was Eliot drawn to Shani? Nothing is said as to why he or she was attracted to one another. Everything fell too neatly into place. For instance, when Shani daughter got sick, Eliot was there to rescue her, also when Shani lost her job, Eliot father just happens to have a position available in her field. The issues with her ex-husband with the naked photos was just not realistic to me. Maybe its just me but I didn't like this book. I hope her next one is better.
