Overview

Spiritual fear is common place in mainstream religious thought. The fear of sin, hell, or even the Devil himself. But have you ever wondered, questioned, or doubted the very foundations upon which you stand? In this rapidly changing world, people are waking up from their spiritual slumber to find that much more lies beyond the borders of mainstream religious thought.
Veiled in the guise of evil sin, and hoarded by the very opponents of darkness, knowledge and spiritual refinement lie just beyond the horizon of perception. As creatures of creation it is our birthright to question, to seek, and to recreate the world around us each day as we slowly remember who we truly are. The endless cycles of sin and forgiveness are holes in the hull of salvation that may sink a floundering ship. For many, as that ship sinks on one side of the fence, a new creature and flaming Phoenix will rise from the ashes on the other; we only need to face our fears of the unknown.
Many fear retribution and damnation when seeking truth beyond the confines of mainstream faiths. You may find that by facing these fears of change, an entirely hidden world of knowledge and beauty lies just beyond your perception.
Through two failed marriages, poverty, family strife, near death, and thoughts of suicide, this is the author's story of that life changing moment when he questioned everything about himself and the world, leading him away from the cross and fears of doing so.
Casting his fears of sinful damnation to the wind and diving into the proverbial "abyss", Brian discovers redemption in the form of a new self-love and identity, a lost soulmate's true love, and that powerful presence that had guided his path to a point of change since childhood. This revelation would change his life once again, and reveal itself as one of the very things his former faith was supposed to have saved him from. This is the story and journey of overcoming those long held fears and world perceptions to arrive in a place of true knowledge, peace, and appreciation.

About the Author

Brian Dempsey, author of the book "Into The Light of Darkness: A Journey Out of Fear", has been a practicing occultist and spiritualist for over a decade. Progressing quickly from a lifetime of Christian training and theology( Methodist, Southern Baptist, and Assembly of God) to the practice and application of everything from Wicca, New Age healing, Ceremonial Magick, Occult Philosophy, and finally Draconian, Luciferian, and Qlipothic currents, Brian finally brings his dream of teaching and sharing occult theory and practice to life.
Years of research and practice spanning numerous paradigms, Brian has set out to dispel the concepts of evil within the occult and practices such as angelic or demonic evocation. Brian's contention is that each and every person has a destiny to fulfill within set lifetimes, and the right to follow one's own chosen paths, but by facing pre-conceived fears of evil and darkness true enlightenment may be found beyond those veils. The proverbial "forbidden fruits" of knowledge.
With no formal education Brian has set out to accomplish a personal dream by bridging those gaps of misunderstanding between the numerous paradigms of occult thought and mainstream religious views to bring the darkness to light. Armed with a lifetime of stories and personal experience, Brian shares his unconventional views as he recounts his life's journey to arrive at the destination of understanding and self empowerment.
Born in Charleston, South Carolina in 1969, and raised in a conservative "old school" Christian home near Tampa, Florida, Brian would finish 9 years of Christian private schooling before moving on to public schools in the 9th grade. Upon finishing High school he would follow in the blue collar footsteps of his father, marrying quickly and building upon numerous trades such as a volunteer firefighter, mechanic, plumber, commercial truck driver, and finally a professional crane operator for a large regional crane company near Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. This book was written in the front seat of his truck over the course of a year and a half during free time at work.
