Brad Gascoigne, M.D. has been practicing as a general pediatrician for more than 25 years. He currently serves as a clinical instructor affiliated with Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. For ten years he was chief of patient education at one of the Kaiser Permanente hospitals in northern California. In 1992 he and Julie Irwin Murphy co-authored Smart Ways to Stay Young and Healthy, which was awarded a Book of the Year award. For the past several years Dr. Gascoigne has written a weekly newspaper column on preventive medicine.
