Reviewed by Sara Frazier for Readers' Favorite When Ellie Westfall is stuck waiting in a long line at the bank with her young son, Raylan, all she is worried about is getting to work on time. Then the bank is held up by masked gunmen and she just hopes they make it out of the bank alive. During the robbery, the stress causes her son to have a severe asthma attack. One of the robbers takes her into the bathroom so she can treat her son. He instructs her to stay in the bathroom until the robbery is over. Afterwards, she is questioned about the robber who took her aside. Other than knowing that his eyes are green, just like the FBI agent leading the investigation, Agent Gil Trent, she is unable to give them any identifying features. And she can't shake the feeling that Agent Trent has plenty of secrets of his own. But he vows to protect her with his life. Can she trust him to keep her and her son safe? Can she trust him with her heart? I really enjoyed Invisible by Allie Harrison. It is a fun read with lots of twists and turns, and it kept me guessing the whole way through. I had a hard time putting it down. I work in a bank, so reading about a bank robbery is always scary, but the author struck a great balance between suspense and romance. The dramatic scenes felt real and the romantic scenes were just hot enough! The main characters were well-written and the secondary characters were interesting as well. I look forward to reading more from Ms. Harrison.
