'I'm not a Jedi...'
I am working on an app for school, and have worked with about 7 SDK 3.0 books. This one was very helpful. The programs actually worked and was understandable, compared to many others that have errors and can be confusing. I was very happy with this book. Plus code and videos are online for extra help. The Sams iPhone development book is also helpful with color pictures but there are many errors. I would stick with The beginners guide.
