Volume 5 catches the reader up to where the anime ended. The ending is different because, unlike the anime, the light novels continue. Bell faces his first real challenges as a leader of others and volume 5 explores his responses to those challenges. Meanwhile, the Goddess Hestia mounts a search party for her beloved Bell containing an eclectic group of individuals - including a mysterious hooded adventurer!
This book goes to so much more detail and is far more satisfying than the anime. I really wish I had picked up this series sooner!
