The writing in this book is so captivating and personal-I didn't want the author's stories to end. The connections from the past to the present were clever and often made me reflect on my own life. There were so many times I wanted to write a line down from a chapter as wisdom to keep close to my heart. This is a beautiful read that you do not want to miss. You will feel the depth of love this mother has for her children, as well as moments of heartache. This is part of what is so engaging with the writing-for someone to let you into the deepest and most important parts of who they are is such a gift!
