About the Author
Laurie Lunsford is a former elementary school art teacher. She is now the Interactive Arts Specialist at an Alzheimer's Unit. As a musician, artist, and writer, she promotes the arts in healthcare wherever she goes. She developed a music program for children and it found a niche with Alzheimer's patients. Dancing Hands, Tap Dancing Rhythm for Your Hands, consists of a box of rhythm instruments and an activity book with music CDs for use in group music interaction. She leads workshops for all ages with the exercises in creativity by interacting in the arts. Laurie is a mother of 3 grown sons and a grandma. In her free time she loves to swim and do yoga.
