It's A Place For Trees is a place for mystery in the second installment in the Will Nickerson Mysteries series. In this country-based whodunit, Will Nickerson, a vacationing North Dakotan, teams up with a spunky and alluring tour guide, Laurel Reitter, to try and find clues to solve a bizarre murder--or was it a suicide???--at an arboretum nestled in Pennsylvania's idyllic Allegheny Mountains. It's A Place For Trees is a suspense-packed mystery, filled with surprises, now and then a shock, a light 'n playful romance, and a taste of the Keystone State's rich history and culture woven in as a backdrop. The language is clean, and the story is fast reading and entertaining from Prologue to Epilogue. And, although this novel follows Ranch Park, it is written in a way that it is a free-standing story, so Ranch Park is not a prerequisite to enjoying It's A Place For Trees.
