Reviewed by Angela and posted at Under The Covers Book Blog Originally read from Baby, It's Cold Outside anthology This is a novella from Tangled series by Emma Chase. A short Scrooge story involving Drew Evans, his wife and family. If you’ve read this series, you know Drew will be Drew and this Christmas, he will get a rude awakening and realize what is important in his life. It’s been a while since I read this series and reading this novella reminded of how much I enjoyed Emma Chase’s writing. She reminded me of who Drew is. Whether he’s married or not, he's still very much Drew Evans that we've met from the start of Tangled series. He is still very crude, still very sexy and still very sweet and romantic...when he wants to be.

It's a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol is an adult contemporary romance short-story written by Emma Chase. I listened to the audio version as part of the romance anthology titled Baby, It's Cold Outside. It is also #4.5 in Ms. Chase's Tangled series. It's a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol felt just perfect for the holidays. Any story from the Tangled series is a good one in my opinion, and I loved this take on A Christmas Carol and It's a Wonderful Life. It's easy to get distracted from what's truly important by our endless to-do lists, but sometimes, if we're lucky, perspective smacks us in the face and reminds us that all that really matters is the people we love and care about. Sigh...

So not worth it. I enjoyed Tangled but $.99 for less than 50 pages of a retold story. It wasn't very original, dreams, 3 visits, change of heart. Sound familiar?

Need a funny quick read while waiting for the plane/bus/train? Read Emma Chase's Tangled series? Then this novella is for you. Sometimes novella's can stand alone and be a complete read. This one, I believe you'd need to understand the snarky humor that Drew sprinkles about in his very own Christmas Carol nightmare. If you are familiar you get all the wonderful cast of characters to listen to. I loved that Dee is Christmas future - perfect casting!! Plus you get all the hot steamy Drew and Kate time. And BONUS - you get the short story of the engagement that was original available by email on a preorder. So, there you have it. For the price it's a quick fun read . If you love Ms. Chase's characters this will not disappoint. It's a bit predictable but still enjoyable.

While it was way too short, I loved every word!!! Tangled was one of my all time favorite books, to get just a little bit more of Drew was definitely a happy surprise. Drew is always worth a lot of laughter and a few sweet heartbeats and he didn't disappoint! This book though short was a pure joy to read!

I loved this. So entertaining and fun! Drew has the BEST internal dialogue ever and I couldn't stop grinning. This was a great adaption of A Christmas Carol, pure Drew. It was was funny but also full of emotion and I was laughing and tearing up at the same time. All the ghosts and stories and memories were awesome. Anything with more Drew works for me! It was just so sweet and made me happy. Kate, as always, was awesome and their son James is freaking adorable and there is so much love between Kate and Drew, it’s all so great! I totally enjoyed the extra love for Alexandra and Dee as well, it was awesome! Excellent story with great writing. It might not have been very long but it was a full story and I thought it packed a punch (and a nice amount of heat!). A heart warming read that definitely put a smile on my face. The perfect addition to the Tangled series. :-)
