My book of poetry titled IT'S TIME FOR A RHYME, gets right to the point. When I was a young lad still in high school the work of the classic poets captivated me. I was hooked. All of those poems, as I recall, flowed melodically, and part of the reason was because of their entrancing rhyming. In later years, I found myself becoming disturbed by poems that seemed so disjointed and seemed to roam all over the place. They didn't rhyme, and, to me at least, they were a bore. Thus, my title, IT'S TIME FOR A RHYME.

About the Author
Marv Levy, upon retiring after 47 years as a football coach, wasn't ready to just call it quits. He turned to another love in his life, and that was writing. First, it was his New York Times Best Seller List autobiography titled WHERE ELSE WOULD YOU RATHER BE, and then he wrote BETWEEN THE LIES, a captivating novel which, in fictional form, still sheds considerable light on the coach, general manager, owner relationships that take place in the NFL. Now he had turned to still another form of literature - - poetry. At the age of 89, the World War II veteran, holder of a Graduate School degree from Harvard University, and Pro Football Hall of Fame Coach (class of 2001) who led his Buffalo Bills to four consecutive Super Bowl appearances, continues, to keep the energy flowing with his insightful and amusing book of poetry titled IT'S TIME FOR A RHYME. He continues to be the "student/athlete" that he was back in his undergraduate days at Coe College where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and was an eight-letter man who played varsity football, basketball, and ran track.
