Given that Jennifer Lopez's uptempo material tends to work much better than her slower recordings, there would seem to be some potential for an album of remixes of her dance-oriented tracks as more than just a stopgap between regular releases. But J to tha L-O!: The Remixes is a collection of odds and ends. Of course, as usual, the term "remix" is a misnomer; these are versions of Lopez recordings to which other elements have been added, not simply remixes of the existing tracks. The first four rhythmic tracks (which aren't as dance-worthy) are really Lopez-plus-rapping, the next few selections will work well on the dancefloor, starting with the Metro remix of "Walking on Sunshine." Pablo Flores' remix of "Let's Get Loud" is particularly impressive, and Hex Hector's take on "Waiting for Tonight" casts the song as a traditional Hi-NRG workout. The album concludes with a track that isn't a remix, the ballad "Alive" from Lopez's 2002 film Enough. [The album was also released as a French import with four bonus tracks.]

THIS CD IS DA BOMB I MEAN YOU HAVE JA RULE WITH JENNIFER LOPEZ WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR. THIS IS A CD YOU WILL NEVER GET TIRED OF.
This is her best yet! I thought J.Lo was good but this one is just wonderful. Walking on Sunshine remix isn't the greatest and the lets get loud remix isn't very great but I still love this CD. A good mix of rap and whatever you would classify J. Lo in! Some of the remixes are better than the first ones!
JLo baby! I love everything bout' JLo, her music, her movies and her dancin'! That's a triple threat right there! I admit she might not have the voice of a diva like Celine Dion but JLo is a diva of her own time! Keepin' it real and I love U JLO!
Jennifer Lopez has always sounded great singing. But this album throws it in the trash. The "murder" remix of AIn't it funny turns a good latin dance track into a lousy rap track. Also, the Waiting for Tonight remix cuts off 7 minutes of the original Hex Hector remix! DOn't buy this album, your money is best left to sonewhere else.
This CD is GREAT! It has all the best remixes all in one. I have to give it up the beautiful Jennifer Lopez once again for doing such a great job. The hits on this one are enough to keep you energized for hours. Way to go girl!
This CD was great. My favorite songs were "Love Don't Cost a Thing(Remix)", "Walking on Sunshine(Remix)", and "Waiting for Tonight(Remix)". (I love that song.) The only thing I didn't like in the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" remix is Fat Joe's part, and I'm sooo not into rap.
I love this CD! It has all of my favorite J. Lo remixes, like I'm Real and Ain't It Funny, all in one CD! I would, without a doubt, recommend this to anyeone who likes J. Lo!
I just want to say that Jennifer Lopez did it again. This album is great. I have all her albums and movies and J-LO rocks once more. Keep it up girl...I LOVE YOU!
This album is really, really cool. If you want to have a party or something, the songs on this album would be perfect to get everybody up and dancing. I love this album, also two new singles will be realeased from this album - ''Im gonna be alright'' which is going to be just called ''Alright'' -and it will feature NAS. The second single will be ''Alive''... which is also featured in the new Jlo movie ''ENOUGH''. Make sure you get this album! You will love it, even if your not a Jlo fan you will love this one!
I admit, when I first got this CD, I wasn't too keen on it, with the exception of Aint It Funny. But the more I listen, the more I love! If you love fast-driving dance beats, or if you just like Jennifer, then you should invest in this CD. It really gets you pumped, and it is great to exercise and dance to. Sure, there are one or two annoying songs, but doesn't every album have at least one? All in all, this album is good- very good. Buy now! ;-)
All the tracks on this cd are tiight! J.lo has a talent thats so true! Keep the music comin' and keep reppin' for all tha Boricuas out there!
J to tha Lo is unreal. Jennifer Lopez is unreal. Lopez had proven her self once again (not that she needs to or anything) cause in my eyes she¿s number 1. The more I listen to it the more I love it. It¿s just one of those albums that gets you on a high all the time. I have all her albums + all her singles¿ not forgetting her movies and posters. Keep up the good work Jennifer¿ LOVE YOU ALWAYS!!! And if you see this, thanks for coming down to Australia ¿ Sydney¿ I will never ever forget it, thanks for the photos and for signing my shirt. You¿re the best!!!
I love j-lo. I think, however she does not deserve 5 stars for this album. Her voice is very thin and her tunes although catchy get annoying quickly.
