I am an avid fan of Jack London and was astonished at the lack of information in this book. The author is so biased on his own views that the true nature of Jack London never appears.

I just got done reading the book Jack London by daniel dyer. This was an adventurous biogrpahy, that told about jack's hard, but interesting life. In the first part of the book, it talked about where he was born, and his mother. His dad denied being jack's father. Near the middle of the book, the biography talked about his mid-life, and all of his jobs. One of jack's many jobs was seal hunting, which he gave up fairly fast. Jack's life was based primarily in oakland california, his hometown. Daniel Dyer uses very descriptive words sometimes, but more times than not, just enough description is given. Some other books like this don't give very much information, but this book more than enough information. All in all, if you are a jack london fan, you have to read this book, because of all of it's information and interesting facts.
