The secret about the Birmingham Rebels is out: With a girl in the middle, two mouth-watering football studs are better than one.

Linebacker Sam Taylor feels like a ticking time bomb. He left the army with emotional wounds as fresh as the scars on his back. Sam’s been living like a monk, but his best friend, defensive lineman King Ulupoka, wants to get him laid. Easy for him to say. The larger-than-life Samoan is a hard-bodied, tribal-tattooed fantasy. Sam agrees, under one condition: King stays to watch.

ER nurse Jane Foster is done being a good girl, and nothing says wild like picking up two of football’s sexiest players and bringing them back to your hotel room. Trouble is, she can’t decide which one she wants more. Sam is hot, sweet, and vulnerable. Jane’s more than willing to ride him into oblivion. But King’s intense gaze from across the room promises that the best is yet to come.

Sure, King has had his choice of girls and guys in the past. That doesn’t mean he’ll jeopardize his relationship with Sam over a case of locker-room lust—until a naughty nurse pushes them both out of their comfort zones. Seeing Jane and Sam together turns King on more than he ever imagined. If they’re game, he’s ready to tackle a three-way play.

Chapter 1

“It’s good to be King.” King Ulupoka, one of the best nose tackles in the NFL, spread his arms wide as he made the declaration, his voice dripping with satisfaction.

Sam Taylor looked over at his best friend in amusement. “King of what?” he asked. “Fishing?” They were walking down one of the crowded, closed-off streets at The Wharf in Orange Beach, Alabama. King had dragged Sam to the Blue Marlin Grand Championship of the Gulf. King was nuts for sport fishing.

“I think I like fishing more than football. At least today I do,” King said with a laugh, his voice rich and deep and full. People looked over and Sam could see them smiling, some even moving closer. King’s laugh was like that. It was what had drawn Sam to him. He liked King’s Samoan accent. What he liked most was, if he concentrated on that accent, and on King’s laughter, then the crowds didn’t bother him so much. He hadn’t liked crowds since he’d come back from Afghanistan. They made him nervous. Which made his decision to pursue his dream of an NFL career seem really stupid in hindsight.

Sam and King played for the Birmingham Rebels, the redheaded stepchild of the NFL. King was one of the league’s best defensive linemen, and he looked like it. He was one of the most jacked players in the NFL, with muscles on his muscles, a mountain of a guy, covered in traditional Samoan tattoos. Sam almost grinned. On the outside, King looked big and mean. Inside, he was a just a big, old teddy bear.

“Just wait, Sammy,” King said, leaning closer so Sam could hear him. Sometimes Sam thought King could read his mind. “The weigh-in is the greatest show in sport fishing. It’s a spectacle. Live streaming online, jumbotrons, light shows, concerts. I love it!” He laughed again and a group of young women standing off to the side giggled and waved at them, flirting with King. King was big, but he had that exotic thing going for him, with his light-brown skin and wild hair, like that guy from Game of Thrones. His eyes were so brown they were like dark chocolate, and he had eyelashes like a girl’s, thick and dark and curly. The other guys on the team teased him about it. His nose was wide and flat and flared on the end, like a lion’s.

King blew the girls a kiss and they squealed with delight. The girls wore tiny shorts and tank tops, and had toned stomachs and long, glossy hair. Sam couldn’t have cared less. He had no desire to get involved with some giggling little girl. That kind of thing left him cold these days. He’d had too much shit go down for that.

“Yeah, it’s great,” he belatedly agreed with King. Absentmindedly, he rubbed the photo in the pocket of his shorts with the tips of his fingers. He’d discovered it was easier to agree with King on most things. Then he did whatever he wanted, which usually turned out to be whatever King wanted anyway.

“I know a guy,” King said with a wink. “He can introduce us to Miss Billfish.”

“Who the hell is Miss Billfish?”

“The beauty pageant winner,” King said, shoving him. Sam nearly fell over.

“Uh, no thanks,” Sam said, shuddering. “Not interested.”

“You better get interested,” King scolded. “We came here to get you laid. That was the deal.”

“Not my deal,” Sam protested. “I came here because you have a jones for marlin fishing and wouldn’t leave me alone about it.”

King sighed with a long face. “I miss Samoa, man. I miss fishing for marlin off Apia, just past the reef.” He turned to Sam. “You’ve got to come. You’ll love it.”

“Why didn’t you go back this summer?” Sam asked, even though he knew why. Because of him.

“Ah,” King said dismissively. “No time, brah. Too much going on.” Sam let the lie go. “Besides, we have a good time, yeah?”

“Yeah, sure,” Sam said. He caught sight of his reflection in one of the windows as they passed. “How the hell did I let you talk me into this haircut?” he said, changing the subject. He ran his hand along the side of his head with horizontal lines shaved on it.

“You look great,” King said, slapping him on the back. Sam stumbled. “Like that singer who used to play football for Alabama. The one my little sister Talia likes so much. Very edgy.”

“That’s what I’m talking about,” Sam muttered. “Do I seem like an edgy kind of guy to you?”

“Sure,” King said. “You’re always on edge.”

“I don’t think they mean the same thing,” Sam said, rubbing the shaved spot. He didn’t like it. It itched, like when his burns and stitches had healed. The scars on his back were itching in sympathy.

“On you, they the same thing,” King said with a half grin and a nod. “Trust me.”

Sam sighed. Whenever King said “Trust me,” Sam was in for a rough time. It usually meant King was going to try to make him rejoin the land of the living. King didn’t get it. The life Sam had now was pretty damn good, considering where he’d been a few years ago. Sam figured this was about as good as he was going to get.
King tried to hide his impatience with Sam. He knew that Sam responded much better when you were patient with him. King badly wanted this weekend to work out. It hurt to see his best friend standing on the sidelines watching life go by, instead of standing by King’s side living life to the fullest. To King, each day was an adventure, and he wanted to share that with Sam. As soon as he’d seen Sam that first day of minicamp, King had taken him under his wing. He’d never seen someone so in need of a friend. King had been inexplicably drawn to the stern-looking, quiet veteran. Maybe it was true that opposites attract.

Whew were these three DIRTY talkers and I loved every bit of it! I've got to say that I've never read a book quite like this before where the characters just let go of every inhibition they've had and just absorbed themselves in the pleasure with one another. It was...for lack of a better word...inspiring to say the very least. LOL So it goes without saying, that these three have amazing chemistry and the heat that sizzles between them is hella intense. But let's not forget that there is a story here too, and that was just as inspiring as the sexy times were. King and Sam balance one another, because although King is larger than life and always in the spotlight, Sam would rather be hidden in the shadows. They have a much deeper connection than their teammates notice, but when Jane bridges that last standing gap between them all their restrain is gone and they both know what they want. Jane was the one character in the story that I had a slight issue with. I couldn't get over her concern for what others think. It was a big turn off, because it felt like she was willing to pass off this deep connection as a fluke just because she has some weird misconception about what entails being a "good" girl. If I had two men that in love with me, I doubt I would care what anyone thought about it and I'm so relieved she came to her senses in the end. I still kind of want to hit her upside the head a bit. LOL Overall, this is definitely a story worth reading for all of my menage loving friends. It has sexy football players, enough dirty talk to make you blush, and a sweet factor to it that you will absolutely love.

Jane was the worst. Honestly, she practically ruined the book for me. I almost put it down like 3 times because of her. She was so waffly and whiny, and it was incredibly frustrating that almost all of the conflict involved stemmed from her inability to be true to what she wanted. It was incredibly annoying! I loved everything else about the book, but I could not stomach more of her.

King was one of the best defensive linemen in the NFL. He was best friends with Sam. Sam was a vetr and when King’s laugh had drawn Sam to him. Sam concentrated on King and the crowds didn’t bother him so much. Sam didn’t like crowds much since he’d come back from Afghanistan . The crowds made him nervous which made his decision to follow his dream to play in the NFL stupid in hindsight. Sam and King played for the Birmingham Rebels. On the outside King looked big and mean but inside he was sweet and loyal. It was easier to agree with King n most things as far as Sam was concerned. King was trying to bring Sam back to the land of the living. But King just didn’t get it. Sam had a pretty good life now considering … Sam figured this was about as good as it was gonna get. It hurt King to see his best friend Sam on the sidelines watching life go by. The first day King had seen Sam at minicamp he took Sam under his wing. Sam acted like he still had a pack on his back and a rifle in his hands, weighed down by the past and worry over his future. He was living the dream playing for the NFL. but you couldn’t tell that. Jane was the sober, responsible, and the dependable one. Jane was a nurse. Jane wasn’t the type to go to clubs and hang out with strange guys. She and her brother David use to come to this bar before he deployed. Today Jane had somehow let her cousin. Today she had somehow let her cousin Margo talk her into coming. Jane’s brother had died while in the service. Sam had PTSD and hadn’t been with a female since coming home as he was afraid to be in the room for the first time as he was afraid he might go off. . King has offered to be in the room for the first time Sam is with a woman just in case he has an episode. Jane also hadn’t been with someone in a long time as a nurse she is working a lot of crazy hours. Jane seems to attract the aggressive drunks as the one before before her but King walked in front of her with Sam slightly behind her. Sam had been injured by a IED and lost several members of his team. The boys had offered to walk Jane to her car but then she told then she was at the hotel near the bar. So they walked her there and she let them up to her rooms since she figured it was a one night thing. Surprisingly King that he would sit back and make sure Sam was ok instead he instead he was a willing participant with Jane also. Jane figured it was a one night thing so she let her inner dirty girl out. Jane wondered how she can want and enjoy two men at the same time. Especially since Jane worries about what society said is wrong and then she feels guilty. A few months later King and Sam came upon a boy being beat up by bullies and then they took him to the hospital Jane worked at . Both Sam and King had thought about Jane since that night. I liked this story a lot which surprised me but maybe I liked it because it didn’t start out as a menage but a guy trying to help his best friend who is a vet and has PTSD and wants to help Sam look toward a more normal and peaceful life. I did get a little frustrated with Jane and the guilt she felt as she hadn’t hurt anyone and all three had agreed. At times this story choked me up. This was a sexy and fun read It had a very original plot and I liked the plot a lot. I also enjoyed the pace. I chuckled at times also. This kept my attention on this story. I liked the characters a lot and the ins and outs of this story. I recommend this story.

2.5 stars This book was the moving story of a group of 2 athletes and a er nurse that are slowly drawn into a three way relationship. The book is very erotic and isn't my normal cup of tea. If you looking for a hot steamy book that features a lot of complex story and smoking hot chemistry, this is the book for you. I was given a free copy for an honest review.

My brain still burns whenever I think about this sizzling hot story. Samantha Kane knows how to steam up those pages and this book is a spicy addition to the menage and m/m stories dreams are made of. Following on the heels of her last book in the Birmingham Rebels series, Calling the Play, which was super hot too, this is one sports team you wish you could be in the locker room with every day! Sweaty hot muscular men matched with the perfect balance of a gal that can take them on. Who wouldn't dream about that? Well, in this book, (and the series) you can read about it! Each book is a stand alone, so have no fears about locking yourself away from everyone for a few hours and delve into the fantasy world created by Samantha Kane. Make sure you have the fans running, coz you are going to need it! * copy received for review consideration

This is a hot steamy read. Trying to let go of your good girl persona, Jane has a one-night stand with Sam and King. Awkwardness and doubt surround her when they meet again. Sam has his own doubts and works through them and his PTSD with help from King, Jane, and his therapist. King is a wonderful person, takes everything as it comes, is kind, and loyal. As they found their way together, I had a few tears, a few laughs, and an enjoyable read. This is the third in the series, and other than bumping into characters from the other books, it stands alone. I received a copy of this book through Netgalley, and it is a Book Obsessed Chick Star Review selection. This is my unsolicited review.

Jane Foster loves her plain, ordinary life. On vacation, she decides to step outside of her comfort zone and have a one-night stand. One of the two gorgeous men she's met at the bar fit that plan perfectly. Sam Taylor is a war veteran and now a linebacker for the worst team in the NFL. While on vacation with his best friend, King, he's forced to confront his demons with the help of the beautiful nurse they've met at the bar. The problem with the plan is he isn't sure he can keep the demons at bay while he's with her. King Ulupoka knows his friend needs to move on past the nightmares that plague him and the guilt that overwhelms him. He thinks by convincing Sam he needs to have a one-night stand with the beautiful nurse, Sam would be healed and can move on. He is surprised by the feelings he develops while being with the two of them. I was drawn in immediately with this book and could not put it down. It is the first book I've read from this author but definitely not the last. The writing is good and concise. The characters are well-developed and I found myself rooting for them. I look forward to reading more by this author.

This is the third in the Birmingham Rebels series and I have loved each of them. I didn’t expect to. I don’t like football and I don’t understand it. And yes, I realize there is probably a correlation there. So, why did I read the first one? Samantha Kane people! Brotherhood in Arms! One of my favorite series ever. Of course, I had to give the book a chance, even if it was based in the world of football. And I am so glad I did. I think this may be my favorite book of the three if for no other reason than I adore King Ulupoka. As the description says, he is larger-than-life and that is just physically. He has a wonderful, wonderful personality and he knows how to go for what he wants. Unfortunately, that sometimes means he rolls over people because, of course, he knows best. It doesn’t matter. I love him. I love how he works to make the relationship between Sam, Jane, and him successful. And it takes a lot of work. Sam is suffering from PTSD and Jane is a “good girl.” They can be their own worst enemies. And that is my one problem with the book. I wanted Sam to get over himself. I know that sounds harsh considering his background, but I wanted them to have a happily ever after. Did they get it? Obviously. This is a romance, albeit a nontraditional one. It’s not absolutely necessary to read the first two books in the series (Broken Play and Calling the Play), but it will make this one more fun. Previous characters show up and have important parts to play. Not to mention, they’re great books. Give these books a try. I promise you don’t have to be a sports fan at all. This book was sent to me by NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Great read!! Samantha Kane creates such "real" characters & she has an ability to pull you into the story from page one. King, Jane, and Sam are interesting characters separately but together are explosive. They story is well written & the sexy time scenes are HOT. I will be reading more stories by this author for sure! This is the 3rd book in the Birmingham Rebels series but can be read as a stand alone. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

All I can say is WOW! Jacked Up is the third book in the Birmingham Rebels series but you don’t need to have read the others (but you really should) to enjoy this one; all of the books can be read as standalones. Samantha Kane has really turned up the heat in this story. The others were scorchers, too, but since I haven’t read them in a while this one really stands out as one of the hottest M/M/F stories I’ve read in quite some time. Sam Taylor is a veteran of two tours in Afghanistan and now a player for the Birmingham Rebels. He suffers from PTSD but teammate and best friend King Ulupoka helps to keep him centered. King Ulupoka wants to be more than Sam’s friend but he’s kept those feelings to himself. Sam hasn’t had sex with anyone since he was injured during his last deployment. King wants to help Sam get back in the game and find him the perfect woman. Jane Foster is a good girl who always follows the rules until she meets Sam and King. They have one wonderful encounter that fulfills all of her sexual fantasies and lets her be a “bad girl” for just one night. She’s not afraid to let go of her inhibitions because they will never see each other again – or will they? This is one of the hottest stories I’ve read in a while – and that’s something considering some of the stuff I read. If lots of hot, sweaty sex turns you off then this book isn’t for you. I’ve been a huge fan of Samantha Kane’s work since I found one of her historical M/M/F stories in my library’s digital catalogue. I promptly checked out as many of her books as I was allowed and didn’t stop reading until I finished them all. Her Brothers In Arms series will probably always be my favorite but the Birmingham Rebels series is a close second. Jacked Up has just the right amount of angst. Jane can’t reconcile herself to how she acts when she’s with King and Sam. She’s so afraid of what people will think when they find out she’s with Sam AND King. When their relationship is brought to the attention of the media she runs away. King and Sam want Jane but they also want her to be happy; giving her time to come to terms with their relationship is one of the hardest things that either of them have had to do. Don’t let the fact that the books are football related stories keep you from reading them. I’m not a football fan but that absolutely doesn’t matter. There’s almost no football jargon in the story – in fact the heroine, Jane, doesn’t know anything about football. You might not want to read Jacked Up if you’re out in public. The people around you might wonder why your ereader is smoking. A review copy was provided by the publisher via NetGalley but this did not influence my opinion or rating of the book.

This is my first book I have read by Samantha Kane. I loved the story. It's a MMF sports romance. This book will be releasing 1/31/2017 and I can not wait for the world to get their hands on "Jacked Up.". It is part of the Birmingham Rebels book series, and you can get the first two books now. This book was so steamy, the sexy scenes even made me feel all tingly inside. LOVED IT! Jacked Up is hands down a great sexy novel that shows the true heart of Samantha's characters. This book brings in all emotions. I was nervous, happy, mad, and sometimes sad. I barely let this book out of my sight until I finished reading it! I am excited to share my review.... Jane Foster is an ER nurse and leaves for a getaway with her cousin to get some R&R time. She has always been a good girl. Always follows the rules, does her job right, and always does what is expected of her. Plain Jane is what she calls herself. Safe. That is until she meets Sam Taylor and King Ulupoka at a bar where she was having a drink by herself. They save her from an altercation with another man, and Jane decides she can have a fun and very sexy night with these two men. Will this one night change the lives for all three? Will Jane's inner bad girl come to out stay? Sam and King are on the defensive line for the NFL team Rebels. Sam use to be in the army and was discharged with a purple heart. He is a work in progress trying to live in the real world. He has not had sex for a very long time as he is afraid it will set him off and become violent. He allows King to talk him into finding a woman he can sleep with. But there is one condition, King stays in the room to watch and makes sure Sam stays in control of his demons. Sam feels this is wrong, but at the same time is turned on by the thought of being watched. Sam see's Jane and knows she is the one. From that one heated night, three hearts get involved and becomes very complicated. Can Sam finally see the truth that he needs both Jane and King in his life? You have to read the book to see what happens

This was yet another great menage romance by Ms. Kane And I would definitely recommend it to all Kaniac lovers. King Ulupoka and Sam Taylor are friends that play football together for the Birmingham Rebels team. You know what team that is right? It's the team with all of the players ending up in non conventional relationships. It has been all over the news. But you know what? Its finally starting to settle down. That is until King and Sam meets Jane Foster. Sam is a war veteran and as a result he is petrified that if he was to sleep with a women he may become violent due to flashbacks. Which prompts King to stay in the room while Sam and the lucky lady have sex. The one thing they both were not aware could come out of it? They both loved having the other around to watch and to watch having sex with Jane. Jane is a nurse who has always been classified as the good girl. But this time she wants to be baaaddddd She is going to have sex with Sam with King in the room. But that is just the beginning and a one night fling that goes further then any of them believed would happen leads them on an adventure of a lifetime. Especially when they find out they all live and work in the same area. This was yet another great read From Ms. Kane but I do want to say one thing. Although it was enjoyable I did enjoy book 2 better then this one. Either way this was a great ménage romance. ~ A Book Obsessed Chicks Review Team Selection. (less)

This book is the 3rd in a series about players in the NFL. I'm not one for sports and know nothing about football at all and thankfully you don't have to in order to read this book! I loved it! I finished this book in less than 6 hours it was so good! This was a new author for me, but the book sounded good so I thought why not? I definitely am looking at the others in this series to buy along with any other books that she has written. There are some heartbreaking scenarios in this book-specifically that revolve around Sam and his being a veteran. So if you are sensitive to things that veterans go through after war, then this may not be for you. This is also a menage book, and its HOT!! Between what happens with Sam and Jane, and then adding King in there? Very hot!! Definitely worth the read!

Great Read! This is the 3rd book in the series but can be read as a stand-alone. Sam left the army with lots of emotional issues and because of it been staying away from women. His best friend King decides to help him find someone, however Sam asks that King stay to watch. Jane is attracted to them both, can she choose between them? Fast paced read with great chemistry and an excellent story the sex is off the charts hot. I loved it!

I never came across the term "Jacked Up" before...um...this book is SO WELL NAMED. These people can't keep their hands off each other and do get carried away when they do. I loved King Ulupoka sooooooo much. He's the level headed one who knows what he wants but is so patient and has a loving and sacrificial heart. Poor Sam is so messed up with PTSD and survivor's guilt but wants to find himself and do what's right with his life. Jane is a good girl with a dirty girl's fantasies. Can she really give in and grasp her heart's desire? You bet she does and we benefit from reading the story. I was delighted when I was given an opportunity to read this through NetGalley. I am a huge fan of Samantha and her menage stories. The journey to love and the healing it grants was awesome.

I was so thrilled to see another Birmingham Rebels story! I loved the first two books and couldn't wait to read this one… and I was not disappointed. I really loved this book! What an incredible threesome Sam, King, and Jane made! Ah Sam, with his PTSD, you just want to wrap him up in your arms and make everything better for him. He just made my favorite book boyfriends list. Then there's King, so in love with Sam but too afraid of losing his friendship to act on it. Now Jane, she's struggling with her identity of always being the good girl when what she really wants is to be very, very bad with Sam and King. These characters are so real and raw and honest. They draw you right into the story and make you believe. I found this book to be provocative and gripping and romantic and enchanting and impassioned and completely riveting. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a sweet and sexy read. *I was given an advanced copy of this book via NetGalley and voluntarily chose to review. All opinions are my own.

Even though this is the third book in this series I have to admit this was my first book by this author. You get just as the blurb says…two football players and one ordinary nurse and a lot of sex. Oh, no not just any sex but extremely tantalizing sex. Sam is a war veteran who came back to the states with many scars both physically and emotionally and is determined to live out his dream of playing professional football not just for himself but for the men that didn’t make it home to fulfil their dreams. King was Sam’s teammate and best friend and the only one who knew the background of Sam and problems since returning stateside including his severe fight with PTSD. Jane was an ER nurse who had labeled herself a “good girl” especially after her brother died on a tour overseas. Their paths crossed in a bar when an overly handsy guy was trying to hit on Jane and she was in the process of taking care of that. That’s when King and Sam saw she was having problems with this guy and they came to her rescue. So just how does a military veteran with issues, a big Samoan star football player and a “good girl” become involved? During this coming together all three of them had a lot to learn and they learned because it was important to the other two. Be ready for a journey with Sam, King and Jane as they all learn what “normal” is and how a good girl becomes a very good bad girl. I received this book from NetGalley as an ARC for a freely given honest review.

King Ulupoka has taken Sam Taylor under his wing, so to speak, and is going to make sure Sam gets laid. Sam has not been with a woman since he came home from Afghanistan and he is worried that his PTSD will get in the way and so wants King to be in the room with him. They find the woman they want and she is agreeable. Jane Foster is a good girl, a trauma nurse, and she understands Sam's issues but there is an immediate connection between the three of them. Too bad this is just a one night stand. Or is it. A couple weeks after later they meet up in Jane's ER when King's nephew is injured and Jane is his nurse and they are brought back together. The chemistry is still zinging between them and they get together. King and Sam are strong together and Jane brings just the right element to keep everything right. However, this is the Rebels and something has to go wrong so hang on... I recommend this one and even though you can read this as a standalone, I would read the others in the series because they are just a good and HOT football players and menage what more would you want! **Received an ARC copy for review from the publisher via NetGalley**

I was immediately drawn to Sam in this story. Sam is a war vet with PTSD. He came back to the States with a purple heart and fulfilled his dream of playing NFL football. He was always kind of lost and King took him under his wing. King and Sam had a unique friendship and were the best of friends. When King tries to find Sam a one night stand that will allow him to watch in case Sam has any PTSD issues during intimacy, they never imagine where this path could lead. Jane meets the boys on a vacation and is set to try things for one night, but the three of them understand each other like no one else ever would. This was a story about three people breaking down the barriers of society and accepting what will make them happy and if the world doesn't accept it, that's OK. Sam got under my skin. I loved how broken he was, but yet such a dominant person in the bedroom. King was the laid back guy who took care of everyone. And Jane was the person who brought them all together. She completed them. I loved getting to know these characters and watching them explore their relationship. It was a well done story with very hot scenes!

**Advanced copy provided by the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review** This is the third book in the Birmingham Rebels series and it is as good and HOT as the others have been. I really enjoyed everything about this book and how it unfolded. Sam Taylor is trying his best to re-acclimate to his life after serving two tours with the Army in Afghanistan but that's easier said than done. Not only has he not played football for years, but he hasn't been with a woman for years either. While that sounds like an easy problem to solve, Sam is also dealing with the emotional scars of being in war, not to mention the very real physical wounds that are healing as well. King Ulupoka, Sam's best friend and fellow Rebel, wants to help his friend and get him laid. King takes Sam to Orange Beach to see if he can hook him up with a one-night stand, but the only way Sam will agree to it is if the burly Samoan stays in the room to watch. He wants to make sure his time in Afghanistan doesn't resurface and cause him to harm the woman. When King and Sam meet Jane, an ER nurse who has always been nothing but a good girl, but is looking to be more bold and wild, they are both immediately taken with her. And on Jane's part, she's attracted to both men, but doesn't know who she would choose if she had to. As Jane spends time with King and Sam, and things heat up between Sam and Jane, King is present as Sam requested and he's as turned on watching them as they are in the act. Will Jane push these two strong, both in will and body, men out of their comfort zones and make them realize that the three of them together might be much better together than any other alternative? Samantha Kane treated us to a well constructed and told story, along with a lot of dirty talk and fun. This is a great series and while it helps to read them in order to understand some of the auxiliary characters, you can start with this book and not be lost in the least bit. If you're looking for a scorchingly hot read, I'd tell you to pick this one up!

RATING 4.5 STARS Jacked Up is book three in the Birmingham Rebels series by Samantha Kane. I’ve been enjoying this series from the beginning and this book fell right in with the first two. It was hot as heck, lots of fun with tons of dirty sexy talk, and also had a very sweet side. So, yeah, it was a hit for me! It’s been a long time since Jane Foster has been with anyone, a very long time. She is a nurse and works crazy hours. She has always prided herself on being the “good” girl, the reliable friend. She follows the rules at all times. So, her friend, Margo, took her to the beach for the sole purpose of meeting and hooking up with some hotties. Margo, who I loved by the way, is so outgoing and flirty, things that don’t come easily for Jane, and has no problem meeting men. But Jane just seems to attract all the crazies. Such is the case when a very drunk guy is accosting her at the bar. And who comes to the rescue but two of the sexiest men she has ever seen. “Just once she’d like to be the girl that guys like him wanted to take to bed. She might not go with them, but she wanted to be wanted.” Both Sam Taylor and King Ulupoka play football for the Birmingham Rebels. They are best friends. Sam is a veteran. He had been drafted by the NFL just before he went in to the Army. He was injured by an IED and lost several members of his team. He has pretty severe PTSD. When he was out of the hospital, the Rebels picked up his contract. But he hasn’t been playing all that well. He still has so many memories haunting him. King, who I want to say might be my favorite of these three, is a huge, 300 pound Samoan with beautiful eyes and skin like chocolate. This man, sigh, was like a huge teddy bear. He just melted me. Sam hasn’t been with a woman since he got out of the hospital, about two years, so King took him to the beach to find him a woman. It’s here they first saw Jane at the bar and stepped in to save her. King knew right away she was perfect for Sam. These three did hit if off right away but what happened that night was supposed to be a one night stand so Jane let all her inhibitions go and let out her inner dirty girl sex goddess. Oh my gosh, she never even knew she had such a dirty side. Maybe it was just because she knew in advance she’d never see them again. Or so she thought. A few months later, an injured little brother brings Sam and King to the hospital where Jane works and low and behold, there is the woman they haven’t been able to stop thinking about since that night. They are not going to let her get away again. These three together were totally freaking steaming hot. What was so much fun is the shock Jane would feel at the things she would say when they were in the throws of passion. She would smack her hand over her mouth trying to stop the words from coming out. It was so cute. And there was something that happens in this book that I have been wanting to find in a book. I don’t want to say what it is but if you read this, then I’ll tell you. I just don’t want to spoil anything. As I said, this was steaming hot and a lot of fun. I was a little frustrated with Jane at times. She wanted King and Sam so much. But her inner good girl kept telling her it was wrong. When she was with them, her fantasies would all come true. But then as soon as she was away from them, the guilt would kick in. She was so worried about the social repercussions. There are a few really sweet moments as well. One particular moment when Sam h

4 1/2 STARS! A steamy-hot continuation of Samantha Kane’s Birmingham Rebels series is once again burning up the sheets! You MUST be okay with menage and M/M to enjoy this book … and if you are, you’re in for a treat! These two guys are the best of friends and then meeting that one certain lady, takes it to a whole new level! The characters are sweet and kind, they have issues just like us, and I think you’ll find yourself rooting for a happy ending for them just like I was. The PTSD that Linebacker Sam Taylor suffers from after returning from Afghanistan has him living his life in a really stunted way. He overthinks things and worries constantly about what might set him off, and it’s driving his best friend crazy! Defensive lineman King Ulupoka just wants to see Sam be able to relax and enjoy life a little bit. He’s been living life like a monk ever since he came home, and King has decided it’s time he helps him change that! ER nurse Jane Foster has always been the good girl, and so when she meets these two hunks and gets the opportunity to live life on the bad side for one night, she’s super tempted! Steamy sex with a gorgeous football player? YES PLEASE! So what if his friend is going to stay and watch … she’s still game! When a chance encounter has her crossing their path again a few months later, they decide they can’t let a gift like that slide by without jumping on it. Neither of them have been able to get her or that night out of their mind … and neither has she! When they all decide to try at a relationship … together … will they be able to live with the consequences when it goes public?
