About the Author

Carolyn Huston is the mother of a child with autism. She has taken several trainings to become an advocate for children with special needs. Her goal is that by sharing the "James" series of books with children at a younger age they will learn to accept and not be afraid of their classmates with special needs. In the long-run, the hope is that through peer education, bullying will be reduced as children get older.
