Michael S. Murphy was born, raised, and works in Weymouth, MA. He has taught secondary and undergraduate history for 25 years, is on the town's Historical Commission, and a part-time Civil War historian. He is currently working on a history of the Twelfth Massachusetts Voluntary Regiment.
