Cristin Harber did it again! Just when I thought I didn’t like Jax she makes you fall for him!

I enjoyed the mix of MC and Security in this story, working not always in harmony to sort the issues and find solutions. Seven is awesome, not only looking out for her friends, ex and the MC she has taken on her mums business and a friends two children. She has little or no time to just be herself without any demands on her, no wonder she has OCD issues. Jax has his reasons for being a straight talker with no bulls**t, I felt they were more than justified. The two children are adorable and have been through a lot already in their young lives, Jax is fantastic with them, so relaxed. Well written story with lots of suspense and tension mounting into a nail biting conclusion, sparks a plenty between quite a few characters and not just on the more romantic side. A bit of cuteness with the children so I would say something for everyone in this book. There is some violence and sexual content but nothing to extreme or excessive and all completely in context to the story. Only downer I had was not much of Titan group as such, mostly Jared and Jax with brief play by the others.

There is so much going on in this story it made for a great read. Jax turned out to be totally different from everyone's impression of him from previous books due to a really messed up past that comes back into play here. I love Seven and all her tough caring quirky ways. They may be my favorite Titan/Delta couple.

Another action packed, romance filled, suspenseful book. This book does everything that a book in this genre should: plenty of action/adventure, sexual tension, believable character development, and has you on the edge of your seat flipping pages.

OMG OMG OMG. Cristin and Titan do it again. An awesome book, and great characters. I loved it all. Jax and Seven both have their own issues but they come together in the end. Loved, and it makes it want to go back and re-read the whole Titan series.

Jax is the latest book in Cristin Harber’s Titan Series. There are a lot of books in this series and there is a connection between them all that strengthens the overall message about family, friends, and loyalty. I have read most of the books in the series so I believe that they can be read as standalones although you would feel more of a connection if you read them all in order. The world within Titan is very intriguing and every book focuses on a different Titan operative along with their future lover. In this installment, Jax Michaelson is tasked with helping to broker a transition away from the drug trade for a motorcycle gang named Mayhem that distributes drugs for some unrelenting Colombians. As if that wasn’t complicated enough, Jax ends up falling for Mayhem’s princess, Seven Blackburn. Both Jax and Seven have a bunch of emotional baggage that affect their decisions both good and bad. They are very good together both in between and outside of the sheets. Of course, their relationship becomes complicated when it becomes clear that the Colombians will do whatever is necessary to prevent Mayhem from getting out of the drug trade. There is a lot of action that is the mainstay of all TItan books. And the other mainstay is teamwork and family. For as much as Titan is a bunch of military veterans, they are loyal to each other and have each other’s backs. I don’t want to give too much away so I will simply say that the Colombians make a move that forces Titan into action. And when this happens, Titan will bring all hands on deck in dramatic fashion and it’s awesome. For all of the books that I have read, I believe that this one is the best one yet. **Received a copy of the book from the author and voluntarily reviewed.**

Cristin Harber's newest Titan story, Jax, is amazing. There are plot twists and turns like crazy. This story is about Titan operative Jax and Seven, who is a motorcycle club "princess". Jax has been a real jerk in his previous Titan appearances; Seven even calls him "jerkface"! In this story we find that he has good reason to be a pain in the backside. This is a standalone novel even though it is part of a series. There is no cliffhanger or overarching storyline, for the most part. There is hot sex and some violence, as is typical of a special ops type story. I highly recommend this book, and any of Cristin's previous books. Cristin Harber's books are auto buys for me, and that isn't going to change!

Wow, how is it possible for someone's heart to break when they never let themselves get involved or attached? Jax is the epitome of lone wolf/team player. He shows up and does his job as part of a team, but he does not interact socially in any way with any of his team members. Seven's description of him as jerkface is spot on. So how does a control freak princess end up getting drunk in Vegas and marrying said jerkface? Goodness what a pair they made. I love that Jax had no problems with the kids or her mom. That's a lot of responsibility to take on and he just did it. I love that he stood up to Johnny and his BS. So I had a few open questions remain - a) Did Mayhem get out of the drug business? b) Did Johnny get his act together? c) What was the point of bringing Cullen back other than to torment Seven? and d) What happened to the Suarez's? Overall I enjoyed the book. My heart broke for Jax when Seven served him with divorce papers and he confronted her. I never thought my heart would break for him but it did. But it was put back together with the wedding. Gotta love a Titan wedding.

“Jax” is CLASSIC CRISTIN HARBER!!!!! For anyone who has ready the Titan Group series, all I can say is “OMG...THIS IS IT!!!! THIS IS EVERYTHING TITAN!!!!” This story has action, humor, struggles, frustrations, layers, forgiveness, attraction, family, devotion and love. It’s a battle of the selfish (though it’s really just self-preservation) and the selfless (it’s easy to forget to take care of yourself)! It’s the whole package! To anyone who has NEVER read Cristin Harber’s Titan Group series…stop right now and go get WINTER’S HEAT (it’s free) and dive on in! Jax is a Titan Group-team member and this is the story of his journey back to the living! He’s simply existing and excelling at being a warrior and a “jerkface” and, by his own admission, he’s just doing his thing. Even his own team doesn’t really seem to like him! They don’t know that Titan is everything to him…because that’s not what he shows them! He’s too busy holding everyone at arms-length. He’s not interested in feeling anything ever again. Feelings lead to heartache, but if you’re a machine, then nothing can phase you! Someone that you love, dying in your arms, can’t hurt you. Yet, if you’re not really shut off, if you’re really only in serf-protection mode, it’s maybe not as hard as you think to find yourself drawn back to the land of the living! When Jax met Seven, he felt a slight shift in his world. Thinking it’s just physical - because, you know, “no connections” - he’s free to be his obnoxious self and is intrigued when Seven calls him on his nonsense! She has too many responsibilities to mess around with a one night fling. She doesn’t have time for his games! Little do they know, that they are actually exactly what the other needs! Seven is a character that so many women will relate to. Okay, maybe you’re not a Motorcycle Club Princess, but she’s so much more! She’s selfless and kind. Giving and loving. Patient and hard working. Obedient and wait….what? She’s too independent to be “obedient”. She doesn’t have time to take care of herself because she’s too busy taking care of everyone else. She’s dedicated to everything in her life. Her family, the MC, her mom, her business and her employees. Everything comes before she does. Besides, she doesn’t really even know what she wants! She’s so used to moving through her days that she just does what she has to do! It’s only when she meets Jax and knows that he “sees” her that she realizes how overwhelmed and alone she really is. She starts to recognize that she’s never known passion like Jax can give her. She’s never felt supported and cared for until he shows her what she’s missing. He shows her how to be fun and carefree and loved, yet, he respects her for all that she takes on in life. He shows her how to slow down and just feel. To be in the moment and to stop all the chaos in her head! This is the moment of bliss for me. When Jax makes her OCD brain shut down and allows her to just feel, I dare say that there won’t be a mom out there that won’t wish she could have 20 minutes with Jax. Pure bliss, I tell you! The mission that Titan has taken on is intense! It’s intense in true Titan fashion! When things get volatile, it’s all Titans on deck! Move Boots! In my opinion, this Titan book is one of Cristin’s BEST YET!!!!
