Book Title: Jeffery’s 13 Favorite Ghost Stories Number of stars: *** Author: Kathryn Tucker Winham Jeffery’s 13 Favorite Ghost stories is a good book. Before this book was written, there was a whole different series of books similar to this one. But the publishing company burned down and all of the books were burned and there was no way to get them back. “Jeffery” was a ghost. He was the thing all the books were written about. The author of this book, Kathryn Tucker Windham, wrote this book to make Jeffery happy. The book consists of 13 different ghost stories. While I was reading, I found these to be very interesting. The first short story in the book titled “I’ll Never Leave You” took place in Fayette County, Alabama. This one was probably one of my favorite stories out of the whole book. In the story, it was telling about a legend about strange images appearing on tombstones. It tells the story about a man named Robert Musgrove who died and the silhouette of his fiancé was on his tombstone several months after he had died. She had an “everlasting love” for him and she told him that she would never leave him. It was my favorite story. This book is a good book to read if you enjoy reading about ghosts. However, this book is about 13 different stories. If you want to read about just one specific ghost story, this wouldn’t be a good choice of a book for you. In conclusion, I think this a good book. It wasn’t the best, but I did enjoy it. If you read this book, I think you will like it.
I have read some of her ghost stories before and I thought that they were really enticing <3
Just a good book
