Overview

"Jellybeans Morning, Noon and Night," is about two brothers who share a love of jellybeans! No matter what the flavor, those boys just love jellybeans-all of them. If they had it their way, they would eat jellybeans for breakfast, jellybeans for lunch, and jellybeans for dinner. And that's exactly what they plan to do! It is a brilliant plan, isn't it? Written by Maggie Pajak and illustrated by Marni Backer, "Jellybeans Morning Noon & Night" is a delicious story filled with a sweet lesson of moderation and a savory message to parents to let your kids (sometimes) figure things out on their own. But more importantly-it is sprinkled with a few giggle-filled moments that both you and your kids will enjoy.

About the Author

Maggie Pajak is the author of the illustrated children's book, "Jellybeans Morning, Noon & Night." Maggie worked for Book Business magazine as Marketing Director. She spent the last 12 years creating and implementing all marketing plan initiatives and was responsible for all of the magazine's events, both face-to-face and virtual. She is a graduate of Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ and resides in Glassboro, NJ with her husband Chris and her two children Matthew (10) and Andrew (5). She first told the story of a boy and his love for jellybeans to her then 2 and a half year old son Matthew. Her husband was deployed in Iraq at the time and this story was the bribe that got her son to sleep in his own bed at night. Sleep was hard to come by as it was. Having a two year old rolling around all night in your bed didn't exactly bring a restful night either. Long story short, she decided to hire an illustrator, work with an editor and turn that fun any-time story about jellybeans into her pride and joy, "Jellybeans Morning, Noon And Night."

Illustrator Marni Backer lives with her husband Tim Deimlerand son Liam in Franklinville, NJ. Oh yeah, and they have a dog and some fish too! A graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, Marni has several published books, including: "The Lady in the Box," "La Senora de la Caja de Carton," and "How Did You Grow So Big, So Soon?" Marni's newest project, "Jellybeans Morning, Noon & Night" is debuting her new style as a children's book illustrator.
