Jesse Lee sexy, ripped, did I say sexy? Amber takes one look and of course she is going to fall for the bad boy, because what does a good girl want? We always want the bad boy, Does it hurt that he is covered in tattoos? NOPE. Of course not. Jesse comes from a past that is almost to painful to even write about on here, so much pain for someone to go through. Amber is a good girl from a good home with parents who love her, Amber was bullied in her teen years so much that it almost drove her over the edge. Fate must have been looking out, maybe Destiny too. Amber and Jesse find each other and manage after years of hurt, torment, and so much more they find their way to each other. This is another Jo Raven hot & sexy love story, where two people fight amazing odds and find their way home to each other.

4.5 stars Book 2 in the Damage Control series is Jesse and Amber's book. Amber is returning to the place that houses both her best friend and her traumatic childhood. She has some hangups to overcome if she's going to survive this town. Jesse has some hangups of his own stemming from his childhood. For the first time he's somewhere he can call home and it scares him.He works his tail off hoarding money while constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop. Jesse and Amber were two perfectly broken people in need of the right person to heal them. I loved Jesse. My heart broke for him a few times throughout the story but the end made up for it! As for the secondary characters, Seth was my favorite, he piqued my interest. The poor guy just can't catch a break and I cannot wait for his story, I just know it's going to be great.

This is one of the books that has bit me the hardest so far of the bunch of men we've read. Nothing can compare to Zane, but Jesse is just such a sad kid. He has gone through so much, but he's hiding everything with this stupid playboy persona. Until Amber. I love the affect that Amber and Jesse had on each other. From the moment they meet there was an odd chemistry. Neither could keep their eyes off of each other. I was so excited that Amber had wanted to almost take Jesse under her wing. She just couldn't keep herself! I love this about these two. They really just couldn't help themselves. This book is also one of my favorites, because Jesse and Amber really helped each other in so many ways. I know that most of the couples helped each other, but Amber and Jesse really had some deep problems to face and I think it was just so sweet how they helped each other.

Jesse breaks my heart with how he views himself but Amber despite her best efforts to push him away opens herself up and they put each other back together. This was an emotional journey for both characters and I'm so glad they found each other. I found myself going noooo it's over?!? I wanted more Jesse and Amber hah that's how you know I loved it because I just want more.

Great Read... I am a first time reader of JO Raven and I am impressed with this authors writing style. There is great Character development, things move along at a fast and steady pace. It sizzles "boy does it sizzle." It touches on some dark but real issues. I would definitely recommend this book. Christy Radical Reads Book Blog

I am so in love with the Damage Boyz. The storylines are fresh and the “damage” makes these men so lovable you just want to grab them up for a cuddle. Jo Raven captures the soul of her characters and makes them three dimensional so you feel like your friend is telling you about their own day. The women that end up loving these boys are strong and that is another great thing that Jo Raven portrays with her engrossing and engaging story-telling. I plan to find a way to get all of Jo’s books that I can, who needs food anyway… Right? Right. I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.
