The Jesters' Dance is a peek behind the curtain at the sometimes unseemly world of advertising. Although the story takes place in a time before computer layouts and PDFs usurped the marker comp, the interpersonal dynamics are timeless. The storyline is somewhat dark, but then so can be people, and it is woven together in a satisfactory way that ties up all the loose ends. Well paced, it's an intriguing read that keeps you turning the pages. This book would be great to enjoy curled up on the sofa with a blanket after a big holiday dinner!

Bruce Walker has done a tremendous job for his debut book. The story is intriguing and will have you finding it hard to put this book down. Think John Grisham but in the advertising world! You will love this book.

I felt like I was reading a season's worth of Mad Men. The characters were exceptionally well developed and I had trouble figuring out who I was pulling for at the start. But by the end it was clear. It was interesting to get several different takes on the same problem and see what advertising people really go through. What I liked most about the book was there were no loose ends. Everything gets tied up neatly. I'm not sure if everyone in my book club will like it, but I am going to highly recommend it as I know it will sure get us talking! Very entertaining.
