Jesus Smith and the Ordinary Wonders: Born to unlock the full potential of our minds by Francesco Arnone

God wanted to share the wonder of the universe with a companion. First he created the angels, but in their power and pride, many followed Lucifer into rebellion. Next he created man, but man chose knowledge over innocence.

Casting man from the Garden of Eden, God placed a lock on human minds, allowing them access to only a fraction of their mental potential. Now He waits for one member of mankind to break through the lock and prove himself worthy enough to be God's true companion.

Twelve-year-old Jesus "Jesse" Smith knows nothing of this. He's just a boy like any other, getting into mischief in the Roman countryside. He's watched over by his mother Gaia and Cort, the mysterious dwarf who acts as Jesse's surrogate father.

When thieves assault the custodian of the local church, Jesse steps in to defend him. What happens next is a miracle, but one which comes at a price. The lock on Jesse's mind breaks, as does the balance between Good and Evil. Demons swarm the countryside with a single goal: the destruction of Jesse Smith.

Jesus Smith and the Ordinary Wonders is a great book. Francesco Arnone’s ability to express some profound truths about the full potential of our minds while writing about a young boy’s journey is superb. If you are looking for a book of adventures, but you don’t want merely fiction, this book is for you. I found myself looking for a highlighter to mark lines that opened my mind about the Creation and its purpose. – Marilena Gironda, professional mom

Jesus Smith and the Ordinary Wonders, by Francesco Arnone, was suggested to me by a friend. I have to say that it pulled me in immediately, a hard to put down book even for someone that, like me, doesn't read much. It is well written, to the point that sometimes I felt like being inside the story. After I finished reading, I researched the author and found out that this is book one of a series. I can't wait to find out what happens next…. – Max Nava, entrepreneur

I had a friend recommend Jesus Smith and the Ordinary Wonders by Francesco Arnone. At first I was hesitant because it reminded me of the Hobbit and Harry Potter, but I started reading and couldn't put it down,I finished in two days!! The descriptions of the scenery, and each characters personality, made me feel like I was there. I could actually see the Miura Bulldogs in my mind; two muscled up beasts always ready for action. The story line about the spiritual warfare between Good and evil made me wonder what we could have been if we didn't commit the original sin, and what we could be if we let Gods gifts manifest in our lives. I enjoyed the book and look forward to the next one in the series. Ruffo,

A Magical Journey. I jumped into this story very easily, and before I knew it I was wrapped up into a wondrous world. It was easy to identify myself and many of the important figures in my life with the characters of this masterfully crafted tale. A thriller with a soul, an epic saga of hope and salvation. It will touch your heart......Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed the idea of the book. It is easy to believe that our minds have much more capability than we are usually able to utilize. The addition of a religious theme is a worthwhile twist. Highly recommended.

This is a Book that will open ur eyes and mind. It makes you think outside of ur everyday way of looking at life. I am only half way through and personally not a big reader but with the dialoge and the way it keeps you wanting to know what's next it's more like a movie as its like you can in vision what is really happening. Highly recommended to anyone even if your not a big believer in faith it's a book for everyone. Great read and look forward to seeing what comes next in this series. Eddie.A. Tool Builder

Jesus Smith and the Ordinary Wonders was highly recommended to me by a friend. Although I'm not a fan of the genre, I gave it a try. By the first quarter of the book I was completely engaged. It presents some original and stimulating ideas about what we think and see as natural events.  A very interesting reading!

Jesus Smith and the Ordinary Wonders wastes no time delivering an immersive experience that opens the reader to a world full of vibrant characters and compelling scenarios. I tend to be picky about recommending books to friends unless I really enjoy them...but this one makes the list. I am eagerly anticipating the next entry in the series. J. Aghevli Educator

This is a book I did not want to put down. It made me think, and it opened my eyes to the world I would see if my mind had been liberated. Somehow I found comfort in it, and the hope that no matter how bad it gets, in the end, everything will make sense and everybody will be okay. I like the line"...life is a day at school, just another step towards graduation." I look forward to continuing the journey, next to Jesse..... Robert Shaw, cynophilist

A Must Read! Jesus Smith and the Ordinary Wonders by Francesco Arnone is a great story. I read this book to my students and they did not want me to stop. Its pivotal idea comes from the book of Genesis but it opens a door on a new world of endless possibilities. The seamless flow of twists and adventures delighted our imagination.
