An exciting introduction to a character and author I didn't know about. Maya is someone I'll want to read a lot more about in the Jet series. Thanks for making it available for free.

Blake makes the back story to Jet a pulse-pounding read from start to finish. His style of writing is perfect for the suspense and violence of an abandoned child of the Middle East. Whether it is soldiering on the frontier, training in the secret camp or coping with special ops that never are what they seem, Maya exhibits the discipline and strength necessary for an exciting transformation to the fabled Jet. The writing ably depicts the strength of character and drive that produces a super assassin. Although I have read books in this series, this prequel makes me appreciate them all the more.

If you like fast, and I mean fast paced action stories then this book is for you. These chroniclles will give you a good background history for Maya's early years and help to understand just why she is so motivated and dedicated. Don't miss this one if you are a Jet fan; don't miss it and become a Jet fan.
