This book is a must read, if you are looking for the truth when it comes to CIA operations, how the Vietnam War came to be, along with all of the events and controversy in the JFK Assassinaton. Prouty does a great job of including all of the facts through numerous different papers and other important document. Along with the documents, he had the first hand experience when it came to a majority of the information he talks about in the book. All of the controversial topics, including the CIA, Vietnam, the plot to assassinate JFK, and a high cabal are all backed up with factual information and not just what ifs. A very interesting part of the book occurs in the final chapters where the actual events of the assassination are talked about along with all of the unusual things and events that point to a high cabal ordering the assassination of JFK. The actual evidence that is found how the cover story has a number of loop holes is very interesting. There was a change that was occurring when Kennedy was in office it would have been really showcased if he had been President for a full two terms. How the CIA got started and how it had progressed to become very powerful is very interesting, along with what tactics they have been using for years in lower developed countries. This book also gives you a better picture of what the Vietnam War was actually like along with how long U.S. personel were actually there. Overall, this book is very eye opening when it comes to the CIA, Vietnam, and how the assassination of JFK went down.

This book has been very informative and was written wonderfully. I thought that this book would be based upon the authors opinion but after reading you can tell without a doubt he is speaking from personal experience and he is very educated on the subjects that are not his experience. Leroy Fletcher Prouty was a very good author and I found this book to be not only extremely entertaining but very informative. If you are looking to gain knowledge about (as the title says) JFK the CIA, Vietnam and the Plot to Assassinate John F. Kennedy I highly recomend this book.

L.Fletcher Prouty's brilliant book takes us back to the end of WW2 thru the assasination of JFK in easy to understand language that is simply impossible not to believe. Prouty was there, first as a pilot involved in WW2 and later as a member of the CIA, and worked for the Joint Chiefs. He was as near to the coup that toppled JFK as anyone. Although he had no part in the coup, he brilliantly pieces it together. The motives and the reasons why JFK had to be removed were because he was determined to end US involvement in Vietnam, as well as him being a virtual lock to be re-elected in 1964. His enemies decided drastic measures were required to allow the Vietnam Conflict to continue on, ensuring billions in profit for the military industrial complex companies.

This book goes into great detail about other possible causes for the assination than the usual suspects,Mr Prouty was very deep inside the administration and had access to many world leaders throughout his career. Very good read, and thought provoking.

I should have known better to expect intelligence froma book by oliver stone and jesse ventura. As with all of these theories, they miss the fact that the number of American troops in Viet Nam during the kennedy presidency went from 300 to 16,000. This is a fine work of fiction, but it shouldn't be considered history.

Dark Hopes and Trials, LightBlood, WolfClan's Part 1<p> Firesteel was watching Ghoststar when he heard the news. Honeyblossom had had three healthy kits and she was awake, nursing them right now. Ghoststar went to meet the new kits and their mother as soon as Leafpool told him they were okay. Firesteel decided to stay put and rest awhile until Honeyblossom announced their names.<br> Redkit, one of the oldest kits, padded out of the nursery and over to Firesteel. "Am I glad to be out of there," he mewed. "That was disgusting."<br> Firesteel chuckled. "You could of left before now."<br> "I wanted to be the first t say hi to them," Redkit admitted. "Hey, do you know when Ghoststar is going to hold my apprentise ceremony?"<br> "Soon, I'm sure. But you still have a quarter-moon until you're even six moons."<br> "It's just so boring in the nursery. Guess what?"<br> Kits, Firesteel thought, they just can't stick to one topic. "What," he asked, curious.<br> "Midnightmoon is expecting. She told Leafpool after the kitting. I always wondered if she was getting fat or if it was just my imagination."<br> Firesteel lightly hit Redkit's head. "Don't be rude."<br> Ghoststar padded out of the nursery to his deputy, Bravestorm. "Send Firesteel, Iceshard, and Fatalheart to the AshClan border. No apprentises. Actually, get them to take Gingerpaw. They may need backup."<br> Bravestorm looked curiously at Ghostsar and padded to Firesteel. "You heard her, correct?" Firesteel nodded. "Giess what you're doing then," she muttered. "Be quick. Hopefully it's nothing. Wonder why she wants you guys to go there." She padded off and left Firesteel to go find the rest of his patrol. Redkit tried following but Firesteel picked him up and placed him in the nursery. "Make sure he stays please, Midnightmoon," he said to the queen.<br> Midnightmoon nodded and Redkit ran to her and started begging to let him go with the patrol. Midnightmoon was still arguing with Redkit by the time Firesteel and his patrol left.<p> Comments at 'comment' res 6. Locations are at 'dark desire' res 1. Please tell me how it is. Thanks. Fletcher Prouty's knowledge of events of the post war era is surpassed by none, and his willingness to share this knowledge is truly remarkable. His courage and honesty are all the more significant in view of the circumstances he describes therein. This book provides more insight into the post war world than any other ten books combined. It is highly interesting to note that the book swiftly became almost impossible to find in any bookstore, and that the original price of US$18.95 has, in a few short years, skyrocketed to nearly $90, IF it can be found at all.

&star &starf Twilightpaw &starf &star <p> Light purple coat. <br> Dark purple tail. <br> Pink ears. <br> Magenta(but more purple) eyes. <br> She prefers studying over training. Has some good skills when it comes to things she's never done but studied. Really good at tests and, as the epic Rainbowdash would say it, she's sorta-kinda an egghead. <br> Other: She is not exactly the MLP character. Different but the same.
