"Jimmy: A Life Well Lived" is the story of a teenage farm boy who grows up during the Depression. Throughout difficult events during his early life, through his friendship with Jed, his blooming relationship with Laura and most importantly through his devotion to Jesus, this story shows how God's plan is best for our lives; how the law is just; and how God protects our loved ones.

Set on a farm in Indiana, Jimmy and his lawyer friend, Jed, struggle together to understand God's plan for their lives while questioning and accepting their circumstances.

Jimmy and Jed are drafted into the army in the beginning of World War II and are sent to Germany. Jimmy struggles with the Lord about having to leave the farm to fight in the war, about leaving his wife Laura, and about the death of his mother.

During the war, Jimmy and Jed are captured by the Germans, imprisoned and physically tortured. In the face of torture, they share their faith in God with their German captors.

When they return to Indiana after the war, they are faced with personal and circumstantial changes. In an unexpected offer, they must call again upon God's wisdom for their lives, their future and their families.
