Everyone should read this. I'm a mother to an 18 month old and it brought me to tears in the opening pages. Imagining: That could be MY daughter that is gone forever because a nurse or doctor didn't want to spend a few more minutes checking over my child. It's not about being cautious with just our children, but the young and the old alike. No one should overlook the thousands and thousands of people that die in America every year due to neglect or lack of communication in a health care facility. This brought me to realize that everyone is human and makes mistakes; EVERYONE. Including the hands you put your life and your families lives into. Beautifully written with specific details. I can't put into words how amazing this book truly is. I guarantee after you read this, if you are a parent, you will hold your child tighter and never take a moment for granted.
