First off I have to say that Markelle has done it again. The books in this series just get better with each one. I just can't get enough of them. Each book is unique in it's own way and she just brings something new each time. In this one Ramsey sets off on the journey of a lifetime with some of her friends. She is on a mission to end the war over the stolen child. Ramesy and her friends must travel through each magical realm starting with the mermaids and ending in the golden fairy realm. Before leaving each realm she must obtain the crown of the queen of that realm. She knows it will not be an easy task but has no idea what they will encounter when they start out. King Vortigern has put restrictions on each realm that makes it very difficult for Ramsey to get everyone to trust her when she gets to their realm. While I did miss the elf realm and the people there, I enjoyed reading about the different realms, each is so different from the others. I liked some of the characters better than others in each realm. Along the way Ramsey continues to learn more about the Rebellion and who she can trust. Her relationship with Nathan is tested throughout the story. She isn't sure whether she should stay with him or not. She can't get past the whole thing with Stellan getting killed because of her. But that's not all that comes between them, there is someone else. I'm not going to say who, don't want to spoil it for anyone. I was quite shocked to learn more about Ramsey's past as she was told about it. Oh and yes can't forget that Ellie makes things difficult by showing up all the time in different realms. Towards the end we learn more about Ellie and her story and what she does shocked me. The ending was really good but left me saying wait what just happened? The Stolen Child has it all adventure, danger, suspense, romance, excitement and the list goes on and on. I can't wait to read the next book, hope Markelle writes fast. :)

A Truly Magical Read! In The Stolen Child, Ramsey Wilder takes on another impossible mission. Still coming to terms with her true identity, she must travel to the Golden Fairy Realm and ask Queen Titania to help end the war between the elves and despotic King Vortigern. In her travels, she may also discover the real reason behind the war. Ramsey brings more than courage, a few close friends, and an intrepid spirit to this mission; she also brings nightmares, grief, and a bruised sense of confidence. She learns Vortigern has put up roadblocks to thwart her mission. Ramsey must now travel to each magical realm and acquire specific royal items before she can reach Queen Titania. Ramsey will face critically demanding challenges on this journey, more than she can possibly imagine.  In this third book in the Journey into the Realm series, Markelle Grabo has again gifted readers with wonderfully realized characters and exquisitely imagined landscapes.  Her masterful use of dialogue continues to impress.  Ramsey’s fast-paced, nail-biting visits to each realm present surprising, heart-pounding threats, and she is forced to learn quickly how to access and control her unique powers.  Plagued by nightmares and the horrors of her recent past, she digs in and moves forward through sheer force of will and a compelling new dimension of dark fragility that deepens her multi-faceted character. The complex, beautifully orchestrated plot in The Stolen Child marks a pivotal step forward for the author and shows a new maturity that totally captures this reviewer. Markelle has been a fearless writer since the beginning of this series, which makes for exciting plots, exciting characters, exciting adventures, and exciting reading. We all want to be part of Ramsey’s world; we want to join in her mission; we want to be her friend. Through a remarkable effort by a gifted young writer, the Chosen Daughter faces each challenge with courage, intensity, and heart while graciously allowing the reader to be a part of her fascinating world.  The Stolen Child is spellbinding!

Awesome! Great Fantasy!! The Stolen Child is an amazing continuation of the Journey into the Realm series. After I finished the second book, The Spell Master, I immediately bought this book. I had to continue this amazing journey with Ramsey. Wow, the imagination that went into this story is incredible. The different Fae worlds and the descriptions of the Fairies and their realms made the story alive. This is one of the best series that I have read! I would love to see this made into a movie. I highly recommend the entire series. Great for adult readers and YA readers. OK, now I need the next book! I can't wait for this awesome story to continue.
