I really love Victoria's writing. She knows how to blend adventure with suspense and then throw in some paranormal and a dash of romance. Now that is what I call a good recipe for one h#&& of a good read. The only part that really got to me was having to read how poor Glenn was suffering. My heart just went out to him and I just wanted to pull him from the pages and just cuddle with him on the couch. I see me doing a re-read of this series before the next book comes out.

Rosie and Glen's story started years ago, when Glen was the first word that Rosie spoke. He was her babysitter, friend, and later, lover. However that all changed when Rose gave him an ultimatum - her or the Knights. When Glen tried to explain about how he felt about the Knights, Rosie disappeared. Five years have passed since then, and a lot has happened to both of them. Rosie has to recover from heartache, whilst Glen has become bitter about Rosie, mostly due to the fact that he has suffered more stress and anguish than anyone should. I thoroughly enjoyed the direction that Victoria Danann took their story. It was heartbreaking to see how Glen was suffering. Even when he is surly, I still think he is brilliant. But here's the thing - I just don't feel the same about Rosie. I've tried, I honestly have. There is something about her that just doesn't do it for me. With a wonderful storyline and an excellent supporting cast, with cameo appearances from some of my favourite characters, this is a fantastic addition to the series and I can't wait to see where it goes next. * I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. * Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

Journey Man is a must read for devotees of Victoria Danann! Finally getting to see Rosie and Glenn is right up there with getting your favorite dessert without calories or carbs! It's like winning the Halloween costume contest and your secret Santa picking the absolute most perfect gift for you ever! I honestly loved this story and how both matured, changed, grew into themselves.

Who isn't rooting for Rosie and Glen to get back together? I don't believe that there would be one person whose read all the books that have led up to this one, who would not want the two of them to be happy together...especially after what they have gone through separately in the five years while apart. Both of them have changed dramatically during their separation...Rosie has matured emotionally serving to help others and Glen has closed himself off to his feelings and has been on autopilot while serving as a Floater Knight for Black Swan. Having all the previous Black Swan characters make appearances here was a stroke of genius on Ms Danann's part...we who've become emotionally invested in these characters love seeing them pop up again and again. It was pure pleasure having Monq involved in planning with Elora and Litha to get Rosie and Glen back together...that they also pulled in Baka and Heaven, Deliverance and Jean Etienne made it that much more fun. Deliverance is always good for a laugh or two. The closure that Rosie and Glen found in the end just made the tie up of the series that much sweeter...if the series was to continue, that would be great, but at this point it wouldn't have to and I'd still have enjoyed the series.
