My book, Joy Comes In The Morning, was written to share with you the truth concerning the will of God in deaths that come prematurely. There are questions that we all ponder but very few actually attempt to answer. Why did my sweet, precious, seven-year-old, daughter, Lauren, die so young? Why are horrific diseases allowed to destroy the bodies of children,as well as, adults? Are not Christian exempt from these hardships? This book is my journey for answers, real answers that will help you to understand God and His ways. The journey begins as my friend's little boy draws his last breath as I hold him in my arms. Just years before, my nephew received a miracle healing after the medical community had given up all hope, yet , this little boy was now dead. Why? Little did I anticipate that I would be discovering the biblical answers that would prepare me for the quest against sorrow and grief that lie ahead. Three months since my journey for answers, I was leaning over the broken body of my daughter. A tree branch had fallen and crushed her skull. Now what would I believe concerning the faithfulness of God? I knew that the truths that the Lord had revealed to me were still valid, even when it hurt to embrace them. It was the reason I had the grace to sing at Lauren's funeral! As you read, Joy Comes In The Morning, I believe you will put to rest questions that have caused you to doubt God's faithfulness. You will be able to trust God again. This book will help you face any trial that may come your way, small or large. Many people have come to know the Lord in a personal way after reading this book. The vision (I experienced the night before the funeral) of seeing Lauren in heaven with Jesus, has stirred even the hardest hearts. The book concludes with the powerful testimony of my son's struggle with death, just nine months after his sister's accident. Does God really heal today? What really determines the outcome of our prayers? You will be changed by the answers in my book. All royalities and monies that come into this ministry are spent on helping people. I do not make one penny for serving God, I choose to wait until Heaven for my reward. We have letters from Brazil and telephone calls from London, from people expressing their appreciation for this book. Please enjoy excerpts from a few of the letters: 'Your book inspired me a whole lot. And I am quite sure that it has done the same for many other people.
