I faked my way long enough by keeping my mouth shut, painting a fake smile on my face and focusing hard on my job.
I quit going out to find that random piece of ass.
Not a one of them would stand up to her anyway.
She hates me, loathes me even.
Little does Vivian Shepard know I’ve got more tricks up my sleeve than she will ever begin to imagine to get her to change her mind, to get my chance.
I’m not giving up.
I want her, and by God, I’ll fight as dirty as I can get to have her.
No matter what!

Of course, I knew it was a one- night stand.
It’s was the perfect night before all hell broke loose to be quite honest.
Drinking, talking and flirting.
One I relished in as I tried to gravitate my mind back to solid ground after soaring so high I could feel the rush of flying.
My stomach dipped, my heart fluttered, and my toes curled inward and then I splattered to the hard surface of the ground.
Jude Westbrooke opened his big fat mouth.
He ruined it, ruined me, ruined it all.

4.5 Stars! “I want to tell her that I have never in my thirty-two years allowed a woman to affect me the way she does. To feel that draw, that pull, and attraction to a single human being as powerful as I do her is a desire full of gravitational force I can’t explain.” “I know firsthand the exquisiteness she hides. I see it bursting at the seams for someone to grab hold of and pull those reins tight. I want to be that man. Her man.” “My heart flutters. It climbs. God help me. I’m standing on the edge. Ready to free fall in to the arms of the man I promised myself I would stay away from.” Jude follows the story of Jude and Vivian. It is told from dual points of view and is the second story in The Saints Series. Although this is the second book in this series, this book can definitely be read as a stand-alone novel. From the moment I picked up this book, I was sucked in to Jude and Vivian’s story. The two of them shared an unforgettable night together, and then Jude had to open his mouth and ruin everything. That night will be forever ingrained into Jude’s memory. He would give anything to take back the hurtful words he said. Especially since there would soon be another night that would forever change his world…Now six months later, Vivian has returned home. There is so much that was left unsaid between Jude and Vivian. And this time, Jude is not going to stop until he gets his woman. He’s made mistakes and he’s ready to do whatever it takes to win Vivian back…. Overall, I thought this was a really great read. I was sucked into the story the moment I read the prologue and found myself quickly devouring the words on the pages. I loved the push and pull between Jude and Vivian. They had a great connection and chemistry that was begging to be explored. I was a fan of Jude’s right away. Sure he made some mistakes, but he realized them rather quickly and owned up to them. He fought for Vivian and made her listen. He showed her just how devoted he was to her and just how much she meant to him. These two characters definitely had a lot of ups and downs, but I loved how they fought for each other and didn’t give up. Jude is a wonderful addition to The Saints Series. It is a fast paced and intriguing story. This story is not only sexy, but it has some really great angst, drama and a bit of mystery too. I really enjoyed this story and am looking forward to seeing where this series is going to go next.

Loved Jude! Vivian Shepard and Jude Westbrooke spend a night of pure lust and passion together. But a misunderstanding makes Jude hurts Vivian. Even though he keeps trying to apologize, Vivian is very hurt and keeps pushing him away. A tragic event occurs that makes Vivian leave for six months, leaving Jude desperate to find her and win her heart. Now Vivian is back and Jude will do anything to convince her that they belong together. Will she forgive him and give him a second chance? What dangers are lurking that are putting Vivian's, Jude's and their family lives in danger? I loved Jude! The book has an awesome story, with lots of emotion, sexy scenes, mystery, and suspense. It hooked me from the first page and I couldn't stop reading until I got all the answers to the mysteries. I loved that Jude was told from Vivian's and Jude's POVs. Vivian is a strong woman, very independent, sassy and smart. She's also a selfless person, with a huge heart, putting everyone else's needs above her own. Jude hurt her deeply and now she's afraid of trusting him and giving him a chance. But her feelings are confusing her. Jude is a nerd bad boy, very protective of those he loves, has a huge heart and can be very sweet but also very dirty. He made an assumption and ended up hurting Vivian. He wants a second chance with her and will do anything for her. This is my first book written by Kathy Coopmans and she didn't disappoint! Jude is an amazing book about giving love a second chance, family and friendship, with a dash of sexiness, drama, mystery, and suspense. Although it can be read as a standalone, I was a little bit lost because I haven't read Riddick yet. Overall, Jude is a great book, with a captivating story and great characters. I can't wait to read Tyson's story!

This was a 4.5 star read for me. Jude is the second book in The Saints series. You'll get a lot more out of it if you read Book 1 as you get the back story of Vivian and Jude in real time and get to meet him in an unbiased setting. When we meet Jude through Vivian's eyes - he's a bona ride jerk-face!! However, there is more to his story and he turns into a truly worthy book boyfriend. This one has drama, angst, romance, some sexy times, but above all else heart. Although Vivian will likely drive you crazy sometimes, you see she has true heart and luckily Jude is a patient, determined man. The twists at the end were unexpected and this book sets up Book 3 which is sure to continue to carry the angsty-theme of the series. A romance without too much sugar-coating and plenty of drama. Jude's Clark Kent vibe (did you see the cover) is evident throughout!! Check out the series if you enjoy alpha males that aren't afraid to cry or show their true feelings.

Jude by Kathy Coopmans......5 HOT STARS FOR JUDE! Jude is everything I want in a book boyfriend hot, sweet, smart, protector and a dirty talker. I loved the bantering between Jude and Vivian, they were a fun couple. This book was so good with all the suspense and wonderful characters, I did not want to put it down. Kathy Coopmans is becoming one of my go to author, her books are amazing. This is a must read book and series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

WOW! Just WOW! And da.. err, DARN Ladies, Jude is now in the “taken” column, Vivian is one lucky lady! She may not have thought so at the beginning, but, she did when she came back from Alaska. Well, maybe not, you see Jude has a crazy b… witch stalker, and now she has threatened Vivian, and Jude is NOT letting anything happen to her. I LOVE a big, strong, smart hero that is not afraid to show his feelings. He does this with not only his family, and lifelong buddies, but especially with Vivian. And Vivian, well she is not slacker either. She is still recovering from saving her sister from a killer. She will let NOTHING come between her and Jude this time, not even the crazy bwitch. This book was action packed and suspense filled from the very beginning. I loved the way everybody worked together to get all problems solved. I am a relatively new reader of the fantastic Kathy Coopmans. The first book I read of hers was the first in the splendid series, Riddick (which was just as great as Jude). I need to thank Ms. Coopmans and the CRC group for gifting me with a copy of this much-loved book for my honest opinion. Thank you, MM for bringing me into this phenomenal group!! I cannot wait to find out Tysons and Lynne’s story. But, right now, I REALLY WANT TO SLAP Lynne for messing with what I can tell from this book, is a really good man. Thank you for reading my review. Kudos Ms. Coopmans on a FANTASTIC book!!!
