I have always been a fan of Jack Hanna and what he has done for the Columbus community. That was my main reason for wanting to read the book. What you learn is how REAL Jack is, not that there was ever a doubt and how GREAT of a person he, and his family are. The world has been blessed by this family!

I would recommend this book for both men and women. Jack Hanna has always been one of my favorite people to read about and this book has given me more insite about all of good he has done for not only the Columbus Zoo but all around the world. He is a great humanitarian where all animals are concerned.

For someone like me who loves animals and plans to be a zookeeper, I loved this book. It was a great book, full of stories from Jack Hanna's past. There was even some light-hearted humor and several mentions of conservation of wildlife in Africa and other places, that are good for people to know. Jack Hanna is a great zookeeper, and I was so excited when this book came out. I just couldnt put it down. So, if you detest animals, zookeepers, and well, autobiographies, dont buy this book. But otherwise, its a fantastic read!
